I received my SR20 clip today, went and picked it up and upon inspecting it, they took the ECU from the car. wtf? I bought the clip from passwordjdm. Kind of has high mileage, 74,000miles is what i figured it out to be. 120,xxx KM's. Everything is as they said, but they failed to mention there is no ECU. Has anyone had any experience with buying from these guys? I plan on getting a hold of them tomorrow and finding out whats going on. I hope they dont try and screw me out of this. I know there was no fault of the shipping company as they had no idea what it even was that and the whole clip was still wrapped in plastic. So it was ganked before it even left on the truck. All together the clip was 2,675 shipped so one would assume that includes the price of an ECU. blah, i hope this doesnt turn out to be a nightmare. Any advice?

Quick edit
Does anyone have any idea what this electrical box is for(not the broken output shaft/piece of driveshaft)? Its located on the US drivers side, Japanese passenger side. Right in front of the firewall next to the strut tower, almost where our clutch master cylinders would be. Its broken whatever it is, but im curious as to what it could be.

Got it all taken care of. I wanted to follow up on this in case someone stumbled upon this thread and gave password JDM a bad wrap. The same day I called after getting the clip, I received an email confirmation from UPS and got the ECU 3 day select from CA. Took no time at all. Great service there. The one and only problem I have, and didnt call on, is the stock MAF is missing from the clip as well. I dont need this as I already have the MAF from my Z32 I sold, but had someone not been prepared, this could pose a problem. Just ask them to make sure all the key parts are on the clip before they ship it out. Other than that, a good experience over all.

I don't understand why people like you even post stuff like this in the first place. It would take less effort to call them up than to post this on zilvia. Think about all the people that didn't come back to this thread to read your follow up. I bet there are a bunch of people who now have a different opinion about this company due to your impatience which in turn leads to a load of misinformation and a complete misrepresentation of the company. You only post bad stuff about a company once you know for sure that the company has screwed you over. Think about it next time.

initially I posted to see if anyone had any experience with them, reputation, etc etc. I wasent posting to badmouth them. What if someone wanted to purchase a clip from them? Having the knowledge now that I DIDNT have 2 weeks ago, I would have conducted business a little differently. Anyone with a brain interested in the post to read it and be concerned about them would keep an eye on the thread. Remind me to find another forum, I mean seriously, this forum sometimes is worse than a prom full of menstruating girls, some people here are WAY too uptight. If this is someones actual job, then I guess they have the right to be a douche. But can we remember why we're here in the first place? We have a common love for Nissan cars, I didnt intentionally buy the same prom dress as you, lighten up.
