The car is a 1992 240sx stock everything.
Okay so I checked my codes, and the car gave me a code 55. i searched on here and code 55 apparently means everything is working fine. It idles okay until it warms up, then it either dies or idles very rough. If the AC is on it will sometimes idles fine and sometimes dies. Recently it started the bucking and boggin when cruising. I have read atleast 10 different threads on this subject and all of them seem to have different answers to solve the problem, everything from vacuum leaks, to weird fuel problems, to ignition issues.
What the hell is wrong with my car? And how do I fix it?

Trial and error. My guess is you can probably hear a vacuum leak. For example, my car has a leak on the line hooked up to the egr so whenever it starts revving past 3K it starts to whistle. I'm sure if anyone heard it they would ask if I had a turbo, it's very noticable because It's probably a big hole. You can do basic alternator testing (search for that one) to see if there's any shortage of electric power. Other than that I don't know of any method to checking fuel pump. Maybe checking sock to see if it's dirty as hell which is a cheap replacement to possibly replacing the whole pump.

The CEL only comes on if the condition causes emissions related issues, and only under a 2trip fault. You could have a cracked distributor cap, a worn plug wire, erratic connection at the MAF, CAS, or the CTS, and the codes won't store if they're not constant.
Do the usual inspection of all tuneup parts, change filters, check for loose or broken plugs on all sensors, and clean anything that appears contaminated. You'll probably find it during that, I had a similair situation on my first car years ago and it was a bad plug wire, causing it to break up at higher rpm.

Sorry i am new to Nissan and 240s, what is the CAS and CTS?
I have done a few things already, replaced the plug wires and the O2 sensor. I think next on the list is cleaning the AIV and replacing the fuel filter.
BTW, in the pic below, would a crack in the hose wrapped in duct tape be causing any of my problems?

CAS= cam angle sensor. Technically it's called the CMPS, cam position sensor.
CTS= coolant temp sensor.
Duct taped hose is just a breather, no affects there on engine operation.

On your intake right under the bleeder screw. There's a 2 wires plug and a one wire screw in plug. Disconnect the 2 wire plug and clean the terminals. I would do that first since it's easier than taking your AIV off and clean it.
If you have the problem that I had. Is my car always running rich, even at idle. If you car run rich and if you give it alittle gas the idle goes away chance are it's your CTS... or some call it HTS

AIV has no effect on engine operation, it's for emissions only.
IACV affects idles.

Any of you guys in the military? All these letters and I have no clue what you are talking about! IACV, CTS, HTS
I wish I had checked here earlier today. I took off my AIV and cleaned the little butterfly, valve things inside. Hey guess what it didn't work! I guess I'll try the cleaning the plug thing next, and search for a FSM...
*edit* I downloaded a FSM, the internet is cool!
Thanks for the help guys

What about vacuum lines, would they have anything to do with it?
