i saw some replica bride seats online and damn they look real. whats your opinions and what differences do you notice. i think one difference is type of fabric wrapped in.

well

lets see....

real bride seats are Geniune and Real.
fake bride seats are Fake and Real.

so, they are both real. just one is Fake and other one is Geniune.

those replicas look like they are using genuine bridge seat pics to advertise.. much like how importfan/gtp uses msport, cwest, abflug, etc pics to advertise their fake products.

hard to tell from online pics. In person you can easily spot the differences liek Dousan said....

the most dead giveaway from ebay auctions are "Universal rail/brackets" comment. If they dont use Bride/Nams style rail/bracket then its FAKE.

dude they are using the same pics! hahahaha

how can u tell the difference between real and fake?

1. frabric. it is NOT the same
2. real brides have something behind the Bride tag on the side
3. note the pics, near the knob there is a FLAT panel. real brides are FLAT there, fake ones are not.

a friend of mine cut his open to see what was inside the fake bride seat

skeleton is crap, booty welds, scary stuff

he reinforced it and rewelded it, so works fine now

fake seats suck, might as well use stock if you can't afford the real thing

its a safety issue imo

Wouldn't you sleep better at night knowing youre not a poser with your fake seat? Dish out the dough now and save in the long run...

i have serious problems sitting in aftermarket seats that aren't certified for some sort of racing league. Like A Spec said, the inside of those fake seat are pretty scary structure wise.

Fake = Suede
real = Alcantar or alcantra or something like that. Other nifty material too.

Just stick to your stock seats, and pull out the support springs and save up.

Nobody seemed to mention price. If they're affordable, they're fake, unless they're used to hell and back.

1 pair of fake brides with sliders and rails is equivalent to 1 real bride seat, no sliders or rail.

The real ones are not alacantara.
older lines of Brides reclineables were a tough fabric that did not separate or cling terribly. Newer lines are some sort of soft/plush cloth that clings somewhat.

Older bucket fabric is a lil softer than the newer line of reclineable/buckets.

A couple bucks...
We'll say 500-700... for an average bride

Actually, unless your car is made by Pagani, I doubt it's going to have real suede seats. The 'suede' stuff seats are made out of is Ultrasuede/Alcantara/Escaine depending on what part of the world you live in. Even suede Bride seats are made out of fake stuff. It's not bad, it's actually a better material than the real thing.

From TeesUSA: ** PLEASE BEWARE OF IMITATION BRIDE SEATS MADE IN SUEDE/ALCANTARA & CLOTH FABRIC. **

This whole time, someone could have easily searched, and found their answer... oh well.
