Hey guys. I pulled this out of a junkyard a while ago, and dont' think I'm going to be installing it. I've got a different antenna setup, so I dont' need this power one. However, the rest of you with Koukis and non-alarm Zenkis need this to eliminate that RC car antenna.

Here's what it is. The unit (motor and mast), and the trunk wiring harness. I'm fairly sure this is all that's needed to install it. If the harness is missing a wire, there's plenty of posts on this forum for how to run a power and remote wire to the motor and just hardwire it.

Just a note, 1996 models are not prewired through the subharness. 95 and 97-98 are, so it's a direct plug in with the tail harness. Late year 98s are fully prewired with the plug to the antenna also.

I would just make a separate switch to power it. Plus, unlike the stock Panasonic cd deck that came pre-installed on most S14s, some aftermarket decks do not have the ability to switch the mast to its 'on' position when you turn on 'AM/FM'.

The power antenna is helpful especially if you choose to install a wangan type wing on the back to ensure the antenna from hitting the wing or what not, so get it!
