Has any one changed oil pan on KA24E?

Problem that I have is this. Oil pan is obscured by steering rack and suspension member. Is there a type of socket that can make its way into the oil pan hex nuts through the obscuring structures of the steering rack and the member or should I get the steering rack and member off first?

I don't know how to unhook the steering rack and the member.

I just used regular tools/sockets to take off the pan.

Or, you can unbolt the engine/transmission mounts and jack it by the transmission to access the oil pan. Then you can unbolt the pan, when pan is lose, unbolt the oil pickup line (3 bolts), then you can take off the pan. Oh I forgot, you have to take off the front sway bar for the oil pan to slide out, just the brackets holding the swaybar. Then you can swing it down out of the way.

But doing the rack isn't hard either.

I do know I have to take the sway bar off and that is where I am having a trouble with a rusted hex nut. =-(

What I was wondering was that oil pan nuts in the back didn't seem accesible with sockets. I was wondering if there was any tool that is flexible to make its way through the maze of the steering rack and suspension member.
