Little brothers project car is up for sale.

Here is the low-down... 1988 S12 Coupe, Ca18det new from Jp installed in car with act clutch tranny hooked up, drivshaft hooked up, and Brand New Nismo motor mounts.

Car needs front bumper still, no accident, bodywork on the the 88 is ugly compared to 85/86 so feners and hood were changed.

Included is a S13 SMIC, and a custom apexi N1 exhaust to be used with the car. What you will need to get the car going is...

Turbo charger- all lines still in place, with manifold and elbo, Turbo was seized and scrapped.

Wiring harness, ecu, and maf, buy the combo for 400 from JSpec.com

Seats, Old seats and non functional interior scraped, dash and gage cluster still in car, need to be bolted back in. I suggest purchasing a couple sparcos via recycler.com, then getting some custom low rise brackets from wedge racing in Long beach, ca. (about 400-500)

A radiator should be had as well, though an old s13 raditor will work, or an s12 will (water lines in same position).

Also a alternator assembly and power steering pump and assembly should be taken from a ca20 powered s12 in the junk yard, then bolted up to this thing.

I'll also include the OEM ca20e thats still in working condition if you want...

When car had full interior and ca20e (basically stock) it weighed 2200 with a half tank of gas, vehicle was weighed by truck scale in the Port of long beach.

not trying to hyjack your thread but if someone is interested ni buying this car i have the parts needed to complete it (Wiring harness, ecu, and maf and turbo..and i can do all that for less than jspec's price + shipping...the harness is modified for a 92 s13 tho...not sure if that will be a problem or not)

Awesome, Im sure whoever purchases the car will greatly apreciate that..

One hell of a project? I dont get it, if you mean like out of the "jdm norm" then yes. This car was meant to eat corrolas alive. Corolla has wimpy n/a 1.6, with a solid diff. This S12 has a turbo 1.8 with an IRS rear end.

I forgot to add, If you have any questions such as "if i bought this where would i go with it?" You can use s13 coil-overs with the car. So suspension is realativel easy to sort out.. and you might just be different...

I want it but am in the middle of things at the moment. I am interested but it will take a week or so, I'll post back if I'm able to buy it. Could you be a little clearer on everything that is needed for the car? I'm correct in assuming it's not drivable? How many miles are on the CA18?
