It is brand new. 4GB. My sister's company gave one to every employee, and it's lazer enscribed with "Genentech" which is a Biotech company in SF.
Acceptiong reasonable offers. They retail for $249, but are currently sold out. Item is BRAND NEW, in it's original wrapping.
She doesn't want it, nor do I, so she asked me to sell it for her.
Accepting offers. :)
Thank you.
these things are cool! I got my mini two weeks after the nano came out! BAAAA!

Inscription. Looks exactly like that. This is her friend's ipod. Once again it's brand new and still in plastic wrap.
$200, she's still entertaining offers.

I can't believe she or you do not want it. Ipod's are by far the best MP3 players on the market. The Nano is also a solid state flash memory device which means no hard drive. You could throw that thing against walls and it would still come up working. Oh well give you $100 for it since she got it for free and it says Genentech on it, which means there may be some stipulation to her getting it. I.E. it may be against her company rules to sell it.
Inscribed with Genentech on it means its a promotional item i.e. not for sale in the common market. Just a heads up to you trying to sell it for market value.

Ok. Well, usually if it's not for resale, it'll say "not for resale", or "do not solicit". It'll come with something printed on it, that says "not for sale". Need I say more? If you think $100 deal, go make your own thread about it.

throw it against the wall and yea the flash card will work, but doestn mean the LCD will. the LCDs are known to break very easly because it is not protected. this is coming from ipod users on the forums.

Looks like the Nano can handle a lot of punishment.

You're an ass, she can sell whatever she wants, I'll sell my office chair and fax machine for the right amount of cash. And not for $100 either, I think that is a new Zilvia LOW. :mephfawk:

Man why don't you just put the thing on ebay instead of wasting your time with it here? You will probably get more than you think. And its almost christmas shopping season which means they will also run out of them in the first week of November.

ah those are gorgeous...
try craigslist.org or ebay.... but ebay might delete the auction because its not for resale (assuming).
