Nissan Infiniti Track Day
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Saturday, September 24th
FREE!!
Billy Scribner is the organizer of the Nissan/Infiniti Track Day event to be held at Sandia Motorsports. He is with Garcia Infiniti parts and service.
First off, Yes everything is free. It is an all sponsored event. All they ask that people try to make a donation to the disaster relief fund for New Orleans. We will also have a raffle for $1.00 per ticket for drawings on items donated or sponsored.
Next this will be an Infiniti/Nissan event only. Spectators are welcome but only those vehicles will be allowed to race or show their car. We will be having a drivers meeting at 9:00am on the 24th at the track under the big tent. Anyone interested in racing will need to have a helmet. There will be no emergency vehicles so there will only be 2 cars allowed on the track at a time. We will have people set up to monitor the track and times of racers.
This is an event that is pretty much a test run to see if we can do something annually.
We hope to make a success of it.
