T28 Turbos on Ebay - $500 ??

Any of you ever have experience with these T28 S15 replica turbos on Ebay? Just wondering the quality differences or if there are any problems with them. Specs look like they are righton, but I would feel more comfortable just spending a couple hundred extra and having OEM Nissan.

T28 S15 replica turbos on Ebay?

They're new replicas, about 100 of them on there all the time if you just type in sr20det. I don't want to link to one in specific cause I don't want to mess up these guys' sales, but here as general link, I'm sure there's at least a few on every page. Thanks

Specs:

* GT Dual ball bearing cartridge
* T25 Turbine, 0.64 A/R turbine housing 62 trim
* Compressor T3, 0.60 A/R compressor housing 60 trim wheel
* Compressor flow 31lb/min

From what I know, those are not the desireable of the two s15 turbos. The s15 turbo that everyone wants is the one with the divider wall seperating the wastegate flow. I dont know the other details but something about that seems incredibly sketchy

Yeah, it's like suddenly in the last few weeks, they've just been posting these up on ebay like hot-cakes. They don't say that they are nissan, but they don't exactly say that they are not. Anyway, I think I'll just save the extra cash for OEM. Thanks.

THEY ARE NOT S15 TURBOS! I emailed the seller to tell him that he's not selling S15 Spec-R turbos but their descriptions would lead you to believe they were.

He responded and said, we can put whatever we want in the descriptions. We never specifically stated they were S15 turbos. I was like, WTF? Anyway, they are garbage ballbearing S14 turbos, save your money.

The Spec-R turbo has incanel wheels and a divider on the exhaust side seperating the fan from the wastegate.
