Malaysian cars are RHD, so it's gonna be on the right side for him. :)

does it fit inside the S13? i'm assuming that Nissan followed suit with the S14 when building the S15 and went a step larger...so the S15 should be substantially larger then the S13 shouldnt it?

Actually, I'd guess it would be close to an S13. My S15 seems smaller than S14s.

ive seen two cars installed already but their using s13/180sx door panels.
but they are using s15 complete front cut.

im just confused with the meter wiring.
ive download s13, s14 and s15 service manual already.
but between s14 and s15 meter, its quite different.
still triying to figure it out. :tweak:

s15s are smaller than s14. there will be gaps on each side near the door

most probably ill just cut the s15 cluster wires and tap it into the s14 wiring. either that or ill have to use the complete s15 interior wiring and takeout the s14 wiring.

s15s are smaller than s14s. argument for post above mine

gaps on the side, for the original poster putting it into s13

Proof that it can , and has, been done before. These pics are old, but it's a full S15 in a S13 set-up. Engine and everything.

but mine is quite complicated...

s13 engine
s14 interior, complete s14 wiring (s14 meter cluster)
putting in s15 dashboard

the stuff i bought,
-s15 dashboard complete (pillars, side step, aircond)
-s15 complete interior wiring (fuse box, relays and etc)
-s15 center console
-s15 meter cluster

my car used to run with an apexi power fc, but the ecu blew... :-/ got water inside... thats why ive changed it to microtech, less complicated, less sensors... more tidy engine bay...

I wonder how many of the mounts line up for that... I mean if its purely a race car and you have no AC or ducting it would be simple, but in real life fitting all that stuff might be the real problem. All a dash board is pretty much is a empty plastic cover.

Do you have any pics that show how the S14 dash lines up with the S13 doors? This si soemthing I want to play around with in the future, and am curious.

Edit: Damn...didnt realize how old this thread was. But any help or pictures would be nice eitherway.

Man that s14 dash makes it look so much cleaner... But what a waster of money IMO, it has no functionality.

Lovin the topic. I was actually thinkin of doin an S14 center console conversion into my s13 but after seeing pics of the whole dash conversion, it's making me want to do that.

Does an S14 center console fit the S13 without much work, or is there a lot of cutting/molding? Are we talking the console between the seats?

no functionality? its a fucking dash.

stock s13 dash has no functionality either, better take it out and sell it or else youll be wasting money, if you run anything more than a dash bar and a steering column your a poser

lmao, I ment that the functionality is no different, a dash is a dash, so therefore, im MY OPINION it would be a waste of money. Unless there was a good reason, like say your dash was cracked and you got a s14 one for mads cheap...

-Matt

*EDIT* lol maybe I shouldn't be arguing with the ViceRoy Mafia haha!

I was supposed to go look at a '90 today, but the guy had a new clutch installed and needed to have the pedal reajusted. And the guy in Barrie (TO) is being a douche and not taking me some pics his car. His is a 91 and he's a professional welder so he's replacing the front rails. The 90 has no rot from what im told, but we'll see. I might just keep saving and buy a silvia or a 180sx (have it imported) or buy a socal car like you matts... trying to find a 240sx in ottawa is a major PITA, but it will be worth it in the end.

yeah dont think there are many left in eastern ontario with no rust.... im looking for an s13 chassis..... with good frame.... dont care if its got a motor or not or if there are scratches or dents, cause whichever car i get first thing its getting is body work and sr20 installed. so i need a good frame. anyways gl with your search
