This is a bite off rbs14 thread but with a twist :D
Post up how light your cars are, specify s13 or 14.
I weighed my coupe today it was a little under 2480lbs with 1/4 tank.
Ill weigh the kouki soon but theres no weight reduction.

Last time I weighed my s13 hatch it was 2680 with 3/4tank of gas.

The car has power everything, sunroof, rear interior stripped, momo drivers seat. I'll have to weigh it again now that its KA-T and I removed th a/c.

Last weighed mine with 1/2 tank and it was 2550 I think, but that was before the ITB's, removing of door panels, headliner, heater junk and a bunch of other stuff. I'm definately below 2500 now. By how much is the question. But this is with a roll bar too, so I'm happy with it.

Haha I have a freind with a stripped EG and it weighed in at 1875 with 1/2 tank. Now THAT'S light.

Repost?I searched and there was nothing recent, why would I bump an old ass thread.

rbs14 thats light for a s14 but must suck in the rain when the windshield fogs up and no defrost.
Avery thats a good weight, I need to drop another 100.

How about everyone else, nobody wonders how much your car weighs?dont care?
Go out and do that shit!

I want a CF hood. Damn S14 hoods weigh more than a f'ing tank! And it takes the weight off where it needs to be lighter.

2670 is my guess. I started ripping everything i didn't think held a good purpose, then i stopped, kicked myself in the nuts, and started putting them back.

I had silvia carbon fenders and hood plus frp aero bumper, that saves a ton.
Onevia is where its at though.
The best weight to remove is the power sunroofs its close to 40 pounds, I just pop rivet a piece of sheet metal over the hole.
Scott looks like you might have the loudest, lowest, and lightest s14 on here.

does rust reduce or add weight to the car? if it reduces, my car weighs 1000lbs. :)

oxidized steel is heavier than regular steel. if the rusty parts rusted off you would lose weight.

To weigh it I sneak into a train yard and use their digital cargo scale guerilla style.

i weighed in at 2400 1/4 tank with more weight to be lost (hood, heating system, tar, windows and doors) i think i could get down to 2300 before my cage goes in.

Oh and i was weighed on Longacher scales at Beaverun Raceway 3 weeks ago.

My car weighed 3015 lbs with almost full tank of gas, subs, tool box, me, and the whole works. Before I moved to cali, i had to get an empty weight on it, gutted everything behind the driver seats and took out passenger seats, got the car down in the ball park of 26xxlbs
