is there a tool to extract the pistons off 300zx aluminum 30mm calipers, Id like to replace the square seals. dont wanna f up the pistons.

I always pry them out with a screwdriver, placing it in the notched area.

Place a brake pad between the calipers. Sometimes two is required. Press them against the side you don't want to take out. Take a blow gun and shoot compressed air into the caliper. The side you want to come out will shoot out and hit the brake pads as to not go flying everywhere.

Use a caliper tool, square piece that attaches to a 3/8s drive,i found mine at Napa, and just wind them out

factory recomended way but dont use the air gun on full

Or just use pliers and twirl em out. Ghetto, but it works.

be SUPER careful doing it with air, you can seriously fuck shit up with those badboys. LIke smash your finger OFF

slow and save works fine. Some places charge too much for the square chuck for the calipers.
