To start off... I was driving my car and make a left turn a few seconds later my car just dies. at that time i was guessing it was the alternator (the interior lights worked and so did my headlights). so i push the car home and get another alternator (used) while i try to install the new alternator sparks came from my battery and my 75a fuse blew. this is when my car was just completely lifeless. one of my battery terminals was cleaned a while ago by a bullshit mechanic and it has a copper color to it.

could it be that i just bought a used broken alternator or my battery terminal just needs to be replaced. anything would help, i missed out on some potential ass because of this shit

im hoping you disconnected the negative terminal before you touched the alternator.... if that fuse is blown your car will not start

so pretty much what you are saying is connect everything to the alternator then put my negative terminal back on?

im surprised you didnt get shocked like mad when you changed your alternator with the negative terminal on.... whenever you do work on your motor ALWAYS disconnect the negative terminal..... now since your car still isnt starting im assuming i suggest disconnecting the battery terminal and then making sure both grounds on the alternator is hooked up along with the plug that goes into it. change the 75amp fuse that you blew put the terminal back on and try again

He's not working on AC voltage, how would he have gotten shocked? Even grounding the terminal directly to the frame will only cause a quick spark, nowhere near enough amperage to feel.
