I was looking around on ebay and found this interesting product. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSAN-240SX-300ZX-Z32-Sentra-Skyline-Maxima_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6755QQitemZ45743 81147QQrdZ1

It say's it works with the s13,s14,s15, but it didn't say if it would work with the sr or not. I emailed to find out so I'm just waiting for a reply. I was wondering if any of you guys have tried it out?

Thanks...Josh

thats pretty expensive. i've never worked with them or heard of them, but if you search for zcontrol.net or PLMSdevelopments you'll find alot of great information on making your own interface for $10, or ordering one for cheap adn the software is free. also, there are forums about both of those consults which can help alot.

im only suggesting those two because they are pretty popular and i've found alot of information on them.

also, concerning compatibility with sr or not, if it has the diagnostic port (consult port) it will plug in. any software should do and most software have the option to select the engine. sr compatible consults seem to be more popular than ka...

It will work with sr20det. The software is Nissan Datascan from Plms development for $20. I still have my consult interface, although I soldered in Cat-5 cable instead of using the actual consult connector (due to sr swap in a sohc car). If you're car is an s13 chassis it will NOT work with Sohc, due to them not using the Consult diagnostic. You can have my interface with instructions for $50 shipped.

Thanks for all the info guys! My 240 is a 1989, so I will have to look into the wireing. When I installed the ecu I didn't hook up the check plug.
