Took off from my parents house, speeding down the hill (cuz i was pist at my dad) while at the bottom of the hill is a nice sharp left curve, i THOUGHT i slowed down enough, but i dunno wtf i did, i ended up understeering and hit a parked car (going only like 10mph or less thou), really freaky when ur trying to turn the car and it just goes straight o_O no bumper support? intercooler? koyo radiator? =( hit the corner of the car too.... ouch...

The radiator fan shroud wouldn't come out so I used a little "persuasion" and it came out. Little did I know I broke all the tabs and shit that hold it on so it rubbed the fan. Now it has a big ass hole in the top. HAHAHAHAHA. Electric fans coming soon.

umm my stupidest 240 moment must have been the time I drove from San Diego to Long beach and back with no oil, and then proceeded to try and race my friend in his El Camino. And when I heard rod knock I just pushed the car harder.

After my second time in 10th grade, I almost made it by going to summer school. I had 2 days left, and the principle called me and told me that 1. I have been parking in the teachers lot, and 2. smoking cigarettes at school. He told me to get my stuff and leave. I was pissed and did a fat burnout in the teachers lot then went to the back of the school where people were eating lunch to tell my friend that I would not be taking him home. Two police officers came running from the cafeteria so I took off only to find a dead end and had to turn back. I flew by the police officers that tried blocking my way . I got home, I was still on fire, then I noticed I did not have my book bag, though I new it was my fault, it was an excuse to punish the principle for his actions. So I went back to school. I parked in front of the school doors and left the car running, knowing my tempered ass wouldn't let shit slide. I walked in to the principles office and told him "You need to find my bookbag" startled he responded " I told you to get your stuff and leave". I then told him " you made me leave and now it your responsibility to find my stuff" He told me it was not his problem and I told him it was. He told me to leave school grounds and I told him I wouldn't until he found my shit. He grabbed my arm to escort me out of his office, and when he did I grabbed him by the coaler and threw him in to the wall. He gets on his walkie talki and asks for security. I take off running, jump in the car, noticing a patrol car 100ft away. Take off, cut through a church parking lot, jump on the highway at 3pm doing 110 in the brake down lane not knowing if the cops still behind me. I get home, call a girlfriend and tell her I'm staying over for the night. Thinking I had a warrant out, after a week I only received a letter stating that I will be in the 10th grade for the third time around. That was one of the more serious things I did in my car while sober, but the ones that almost cost me my life, was when I would be rally driving through neighbor hoods, on rolls, or rolls and alcohol, or meth rolls and alcohol, or coke and alcohol doing 115 in a 25. Those were some retarded times, and I'm glad Im here to talk about them :)

PS: my friend that I went to the back of the school to let him know I was not taking him home was the one that got me my bookbag back, since we were eating luch and the priciple called me, I got up leaving it next to him. though I did not care about the book bag, I wanted the principle to suffer.

its about march in northern cali, so its kinda cold. i meet this girl at at party and hit it off, and early in the morning i take her home, we take a side road, i park and rail her in the passenger seat. steam the windows up really really good and then relax. i take her home and roll back to my place. the next day i go to another girls house(the one i was kinda seeing at the time) to hang out. we chilled all day, then went out to dinner. we leave the restaruant and go for a drive. i figure ill give the whole, take a side road again with a different girl and see if i can get a two-fer cause this girl hasnt let me hit it in the car yet. i park, but didnt realize we were around a few street lights, and we start goin at it. hot and heavy and all of a sudden, she pushes me up, looks me straight in the face.........and askes "who the hells footprints is on the windshield?", stunned i turn around and look, and sure enough, the bitch from the night before had left two smeary, but distinguished footprints facing up. now, i had just convinced this girl to let me get some in my car, and........wow, bad night, akward drive home, worst move in my 240. i try not to regret anything i do driving, just hope i can make good decisions while i am. my weakness, brawds, bottom line, i keep meguiers glass cleaner wipes in the car now.

I had just discoveed how to feint drift... so I thought I had it on lock. I drifted the first turn (very little angle and speed) going uphill and kinda did the second but then on the way down, it was game over. I started to drift the second turn (wet in some spots) when I went to countersteer I gained grip and nailed the curb. I hit the brakes and steered away from the trees. He did, but I started fishtailin back and forth, about 7 or 8 times. I kept it together for as long as I could countersteerin. Finally I was like fuck it and just let go of the wheel. Spun a 180 and rollin backwards, put it in reverse(everyone stopped, like 15 cars) turned around and decided to keep it under 50 for the ride home. They drove off in the car and the driver got caught about 10 minutes later. He got charged with basically attempted murder, but he escaped to Mexico. Hooray.

-drifted an off ramp by my house, an uphill right, only to come to the peak of the hill and find a cop driving the opposite direction staring right at me. I did the "white guy wave" and he didn't follow me.
-daily drove with aero about an inch off the ground, tried to pass some ass hole who cut me off on the freeway, flipped him off as I hit a dip and BOOM front bumper just slides under the front of my car. He drives past me just ROLLING in laughter.
-First drive in my sr20 I go like 60 miles from home, about 50 miles into it I hear a PING PING tap tap go along the underside of my car, figure it was a rock. Park at some gay ass car show, come back 3 hours later. Start my car, rod knock city. Quickly shut off my car (turbo timer has to allow about 5 seconds before it shuts off, longest 5 seconds of my life.), oil plug had fallen out.
-Took my stock efan cooled car, full of water, not coolant, to Industry Drift Day and spent the entire day completely overheating my SR. Let my friends drive it like 5 runs, 3 of which the needle was at HOT. I are smart.

I guess mine would have to be crashing my last one...my car sat all winter as I waited for one day when i could drive it. The thing wouldnt start in the cold so I had to wait and wait...seemed like the cold would never end, then finally I got one day in the last week of february when it was actually pretty nice, I had just finished getting everything ready for the spring and called my girl to come by, we went out and i let it rip a little on a street ive driven plenty of times. I shifted in high rpms the wheels slipped a little but there was still sand on the road so my car lost control and slid all over the place, tried to catch it and couldnt the passanger side wheel hit the curb and hopped over and we plowed straight into a telephone pole head on at like 40mph....totaled the fuck out of my car, no insurance, and I broke my nose and she broke a vertebrae in her back and got a metal plate and screws in her spine, it took her a few weeks to walk again, we missed spring break and all that but shes all healed up and doing a lot better

Well I was going down I-5 in Washington just cruising at 60mph, then this dumbshit in an Integra comes flying by, then slows down and gets next to me and starts accelerating and slowing down trying to get me to race him. So I said fuck it let me try out the new engine (just finished SR a week before this). We take off and I got him by like 2 car lengths aoing about 100mph and BOOM my front left tire blows out and I almost slam into the cement divider on the highway. ha just thought of another one...in my first 240, which was a super shit box, I was coming back from a party when i came to a light, no cars anywhere since i was in a pretty quiet city....well like i said my car was a shit box and tranny was fucked up, the subframe would knock around if i didnt shift exactly right etc...so i go to take the left try and put in gear and it wont go...i keep fuckin around and its kinda slow creepin in 1st finally slam into 2nd the car jerks and starts goin...look up and theres a cop directly behind me, had to have been the only car for miles...I was shit faced.....he said it looked like i was havin trouble and gave me the whole illegal exhaust speech but ended up letting me go..if he had asked me to get out of the car i dont think i could have.


Also made the mistake of buying that car in the first place...i had plans to do an SR swap, but the thing had an ebay s15 front conversion, a fucked up tranny and subframe....and literally no oil in it...the oil light would flicker but i didnt think it was a big deal, my car shit the bed right in front of a gas station, I pulled in, they changed my oil and the guy said he could have fit all the oil that came out of my car into the palm of his hand......and oh yeah i got pulled over at least once a week for the entire summer

Stupidest thing I ever did... Invited a friend over to drink, he brings some tweaker with him (he bought the booze since we weren't 21). Towards the end of the night the tweaker wants a ride home (I'll be damned if I let him stay in my house :p).

So I'm driving the guy home, and we are on this long straight country road. Neither of the other two guys think to warn me that their turn is coming up. All of a sudden I see a stop sign out the corner of my eye, blow through this T intersection that turns into a dirt road on the other side. Now im on this dirt road going at least 50-60 mph, see a telephone pole straight in front of me, barely steer around it, and smash into another pole that was a little ways behind it.

Pole got knocked over, car was totaled (damage looked a lot like that white S14 earlier in the thread). Tweaker breaks his collarbone on the seatbelt, my friend in the backseat with no seatbelt on goes tumbling around back there, but is fine. I was fine, just shaken up a little.

I swore I would never drink and drive again, and I've stuck too it.

2 weeks after my sr swap.. and "walbro" i was driving home at 4am, had a 1/4 tank but my gas light was on all day i thought something was just wrong with the light cause i had a 1/4 tank.. my car starts to stutter on the side of the road.. then dies.. I couldn't tell if i had gas so i pulled my pump at 4am on the side of the freeway...


What made it so bad is that about 5 hours prior i got a ticket for expired tabs and no proof of insurance "which i had"

Lexus Is300 (my sisters)- took the car to the rose bowl.. had some fun, then took off on arroyo. (there was a UCLA football game going on). me, not thinking, speed through the 25mph residential area at 75+. I hit a bank, catch about 2 feet of air, and squeel the tires taking off. then i realize i have my friend in the car. police pull me over and ask if i know how i got caught.. and they say they hear tires squeeling. as i saw the police lights coming, i yelled to my friend to run out of the car into the bushes, and he proceeds to do so. the cops think hes tryign to run, so they get on the megaphone and yell at him to stay in the car. he comes up, then asked my friend why he was leaving.. and my friend said it was hot. hahahah. I got owned with a speeding ticket, and carrying a passenger. also, the cops were on motorcycles. the guy who wrote me the tickets bike would start. so the other cop had to push him for like 50 feet. AHAHAH that was funny. went to court, kissed the shit outta the judges ass, and just had to pay a 304$ fine and traffic school.

240sx- made a right turn on my block, and open a can of soda. it was shaken, so it spilled. so i think to myself. shit.. this is gonna get sticky. i start to wipe it off withought staring at the road. when i finish cleaning up, i just remeber seeing a truck. OH FUCK is what i thought. i hit the car, and i hit my head on the sterring wheel. i KO'ed for a minute and then got out of the car. his bumper rolled under the bed of the truck.. and my car.. ouch. lol

Back in like 05 there would be this STI that would always fly through the onramp on the way home from work (pretty long right handed corkscrew with two lanes).. So one day we're side by side and we both punch it up the ramp. I'm on the outside lane and all is fine and dandy till about 50 MPH then my tires begin to squeel a little bit, and midcorner there's a little bump... Low and behold it's just enough to upset my stiff rear end and I start fishtailing (bump caught me completely by surprise cause I usually take the inside lane). I let that go for about 3 times then i just pulled the e-brake and let the car do a 180.. I had a huge grin on my face but the co-worker i was car pooling with was stiff as a board.

I laughed almost the entire way home.. I decided to look at my tires and to my surprise I see absolutely no tread and like a third of the tire showed steel... After that I got some YOKO's.. Took the onramp at 75 with no squeel.. Never had a rematch with the STI though =/

You could probably imagine that the car rolled right the fuck out of the gas station headed towards a crosswalk across the street. I was in my dad's t100 toyota truck at the time and I swerved into the truck so it could stop. Luckily I hit the car with the front bumper of my dads truck and it was able to stop the other truck. Probably the proudest moment of my life....and maybe the stupidest...I don't know

i just remembered another stupid thing. last year when i still had my silver pignose with open diff and blown struts i did some streeto dorifto in an industrial park at night (it was raining btw.)...and there was this left hand corner. there was a semi truck parked on the opposing lane just before the corner, but i didn't see oncoming headlights so i went for it, third into second gear shiftlock, worked nice. mid drift i notice another semi trailer standing right on the inside just after the corner, so i panicked, slammed the brakes (stupid), the car turned about 160 degrees, the front driver side wheel jumps onto the curb, i'm still standing on the brake pedal, the car slides backwards and UNDER the trailer (the front part where the trucks pick them up, those are pretty low here in germany) just stopping 20 inches before the trailer would've torn my roof and rear windows off my car like a can of beans.

my front tire had a thumb-sized hole and the rim was totally busted (just stock SE rims, so no biggie). fortunately no arm was bent, at least everything looked fine when i changed the wheel the next day.

So a couple months back I got the whole nrg steering wheel setup. Qr, wheel, and 2.0 hub.

Well my dumbass didn put the wheel bolt back into the center after lining the hub up.

so anyways, I've been driving like that since I put it on back in march or so. Then me and my friend decided to fgo to the saddle ranch for some drinks.

I drink and smoke some or whatever. Its time to go, and I'm pretty much sober. Were driving on the 101 to the 110. Well when I had to cross over lanes to get from the exit lane...BAM!!!! My fuckin sterring wheel comes right off going 75 mph....I hit the brakes, but eased on them. Then I grabbed the wheel bolt with my hand and squeezed with all my might trying to steer(wich is phsycially impossible)....and I managed by some sort of act from te dorifto gods, that I barely stopped at an angle on the side of the freeway right up against the meduim. Then I had to get my steering wheel back on and push my wheel everytime I hit a bump.

Needless to say. That by far is the worse thing that could happen I believe. And my friend is scared shitless to drive in my car now....I owed him for saving my life hydroplaning on the 405s during el nino....yeah that's another time we almost ate medium....

Blew the KA on my s14 while doing 135+ on the I15 at 2am with little to no oil in the engine on stock/bald tires and stock everything.

Swapping out my pads/rotors to x-drilled/slotted, my right-rear was being a major pain, and in the chaos of trying to get it all done in time to go to work I forgot a couple things. Got halfway down the street in my neighborhood when I heard clunking coming from the rear end. Forgot to tighten the lug nuts, and the wheel was sitting crooked. Hand tightened the lugs enough to get me back to the house, tightened them down and went to work. (late) Leaving work, while backing up my right rear brake was binding on something and I found it to be the caliper binding on the inside of my steelies. (only in reverse while braking though) Pull the wheel off again and realize the caliper bracket bolts had only been hand tight and the front bolt fell out, so when I was braking in reverse the caliper was being pushed out into the wheel. Bought a new bolt, re-installed the right rear, making sure it was all tight, and check all other 3 corners just in case. (they were fine, just the one that fought me was loose)

Moral of the story, take your time and don't plan working on your only car before work. :-/

I'm torn between saying taking my girlfriend for a ride was the stupidest thing I've done. Rough ride, no radio, or AC. Got only up to 5 psi and she got scared, then I blew a intercooler pipe and she thought we were stranded and said a few choice words about the car and me haha. OR it was the smartest thing. Cause now I dont drive anywhere. So I save gas and get to ride in a nice riding car, with a radio and AC...

Locking the brakes in 2 different 240's. Totaled my red '92 coupe on a rock wall on mount wilson and smashed the living crap out of my pignose front end via a 3 foot dirt embankment followed by a 10 foot deep ditch on little tujunga (sand canyon). Luckily the front end was stitch welded and thoroughly braced so the chasis of my fastback seemed impervious to damage, the front bumper didn't fare so well though. I've got pics somewhere. Funny thing though is that i had a silvia front in my posession the next night and on the car a day or two after that. That's how I roll bitches! LOL! Seriously though I failed at braking for the longest, much better now though.

I completed my swap with no luck of starting. It cranked over perfectly, timing was on the dime and then i realized hmmmm maybe my fuel lines are switched? And so as i went to check i removed one of them and POWWW fuckin shot of gas to the face..i Switched them amd voila it started... :)

Buying a built drift car after a stock SC400 and trying to take a corner you've taken many times before at 55mph at 65mph and then remembering halfway through that the car is caged with a very oversteery coilover setup.

Boost came on harder than I thought and I ended up sliding up and down the street overcorrecting and ended up on a curb facing the opposite direction.

Other than that...probably just street-sliding in general.
