Are all the wires pushed in properly.
Taking off the guide will not cause that
problem. It has to be something else.
Is it cranking over?

i took it apart again and it seems like the tensioner broke. it was extended beyond the limit, because the plastic piece( plastic, what the hell are they thinking :loco: ) that sticks out through that "L" shape looking bracket seems to have broken off. maybe there was too much tension or something that prevent it from firing up? maybe ? shit i need to order that fast, dose anyone know of a place or website that sells the tensioner for a reasonable price not like how the dealer jacks you. please...any suggestions would be greatly apprecriated  also i live in norcal.

Dealer is the only place to get it separate, most places only sell it in a kit. It's cheap anyway.
Sounds like your timing is off also, that's why it won't start. A broken tensioner/guide wouldn't affect that, you'd just have chain slop after it started.

cool cool thanks. maybe i'll try the dealer tomorrow because its close today. how do i find out if my timing is off, because theres nomarking what so ever on the chain and the cams gear at all. i tried searching the forum and all i found was timing advance and the so forth but no actaully showing you how to do it. so what kind of tools is require to perform a timing check and readjusting it as well, because this is going to be my first time doing a timing?

Chances are your distributor is off a tooth. Ask me how I know.
Do some searching, there're pictures of the way the distributor is supposed to look after it's in all the way. Remember it rotates as it slides in.
Also every time you crank, you'll be flooding your engine if it's not right. Which means you have to wait for the gas to evaporate inbetween attempts. You also have to set it back to tdc.
Also did you put your spark plug wires back the right way?

yeah.. i did put the spark plugs back in right after i finished doing everything.. so which was do i turn the bolt for the tdc.. and should i take my spark plug wires out and let the gas evaporate?
