I am in the market of upgrading my suspension, and was in much undecided dillema. Which brands to go with (Kazama, cusco, silk road,etc.). I am looking into purchasing some items within' the next couple of weeks. This will be a dd from a short while. The car is an s13. All info. would greatly be appreciated on brand specific parts (ruca, tie rods, tension rods,etc.).
Thanks,
Andrew

imma tell u nicely before u get told not so nicely, it would be best if u did searches on each of the multilink parts you are interested in. most of ur answers wil be found there. all those brands are good. cusco and kazama have nice rucas. beefy. if i had the $ id probly run mostly cusco and kazama parts. they seem a lil beefier than the silkroad/NAMS/SPL stuff

SPL parts are highly recommended by like, 75% of Zilvians. They are known for their outstandingly great service, and customer care.
But overall, parts differ in quality, and functionality. You don't always have to go with brandnames when there are other products that would be equal in quality, but cheaper in price, and not as well known.
Searching is your best bet!

sochbat: I appreciate the advice. I understand that everybrand will differ from quality was just curious what more or less to look into. I sould have maybe renamed my topic "what kind susp. does everyone run" ( or search a little more. It all comes down to patience, and I guess I kind of got a little ove anxious.
redsuns3838: I know about the search flames and stuff, and was a bit worried this might get flamed. Like stated above my patience got the best of me this time. Thanks, for not flaming and using your kindness.
Thank you for the advice and back to the search boards :bash: .
Thanks,
Andrew

Ditto the above post, Kuah is clearly the man. Customer service alone blows every else away let alone the quality products he makes.

The G-Master Line is out and u should go take a look at that stuff...its on the GP Sports web site. The new Gmaster coils are suppose to be better than the previous GR6's that GP put out. The only thing that sucks is i dont kno anyone with them on yet. Only cuz they're so new...but only time will tell....

I like my Battle Version parts, although I don't think he makes a RUCA for s13. But you can get the other arms. Yea SPL parts rock too.

Wow, I really did not expect to get more feedback. It helps out alot, All the positive and helpfull responses are more than appreciated. I will take a look into the gp sports line-up. A buddy I work with is using Battle Version products on his s14. I believe i'll ask him how he likes it or just test drive his ride out, though he does have megan coils, hope this does not interfere with the thoughts on other parts.
Once again all responses are all the most helpfull.
Thanks,
Andrew

Just go to SPL for all your needs, you can't go wrong. Extremely high quality, good service, and alot of the time its less expensive than the competition.

If your car is a daily driver, you'd be better off getting a nice spring/strut combo then later upgrading to coilovers.
no use in wasting coilovers on a daily driver.
Id recommend anything like KYB AGX + Prokit springs
or if you have extra money
Koni Yellow's with Ground Control coilovers.

For multilink rods and bars, the powertrix stuff is awesome bang for the buck, they are very well built and priced right for anyone.
I am also getting a set of the Powertrix coilovers to replace my old KTS coilovers. If you are into inverted monotube good quality coilovers for a steal of a price, you might want to give the powertrix parts a try.

both vendors are good. I have bought stuffs from both.
more people are vouching for SPL (there's nothing wrong with that), but charles at PowerTrix does the job pretty well.

Remember, don't get ANY multilink part with a zirk fitting. The zirk fittings indicate a bearing meant for industrial use, not racing. They will, and do break.
For multilink I suggest SPL and Battle Version. All the rest is a waste of money.

interesting how come your swapping out the KTS for Powertrix?
on another note...
Powertrix stuff( not the coilovers) is TCS Sportline its the same as the Ctune stuff. In fact TCS sportline sells it to other retailers as well. Powertrix just happens to buy a huge amount of the stuff. In the end its all decent stuff for the money.
As long as you get the newer stuff that is not zirk fitted.

thee zerk fitting is that little nipple that requires a grease gun to maintain that rod end. The new line of Powertrix parts eliminates that zerk fitting with self lubricating rod ends and comes with a dust cover for the rod end.
