Hey Zilvia Community. Your Friendly neighborhood Sochbat here.

I was wondering what everyone thought about buying wheel spacers?
Machined out of 6061-t6 Aluminum, hubcentric, would be availible in sizes up to 24mm, and Peak Performance studs. Although im not sure how 24mm will stand up on 60mm studs as these are spacers, not adapters.

Prototype testing will start this weekend, as soon as my crapass boss gives me my check, due last friday. Being as im a nice guy, and im cute, im going to start off buying a GB license for em, and maybe run them for 200-240 for all 4 spacers, and studs. Sounds CHEAP from everyone i've asked.

Again, this is a testing waters. Prototype testing will include hard canyon runs, highspeed gripping, maybe drifting, if i can shell out that much gas for the driver. Anyone else have suggestions on how to test em? Open to all suggestions unless its "Let me test a pair" or anything of equal stupidity.

I'm interested Cheat. My 15x6.5 +12 mesh would need spacers. =D

maybe if you buy my wheels... I'd buy from James Bond, but I don't need any spacers.

Yea. Not the bolt-on ones, just the slip ons.

yikes, a slip on, up to 24mm? maybe 15mm's max?

as long as you can beat ebay prices for custom spacers then i think you'll have customers, and that was bolt on.

the ebay guys who actually machine their stuff (i think they are out in the Inland Empire) do good work, i personally used their spacers for almost 2 years now no problem. (25mm and 30mm hubcentric bolt on)

So roughly, that covers the cost to make the spacers, and for the extended bolts.
About 100 to machine a set, 88 bucks for 16studs @ 60mm each for 5.50..
I was also thinkin about just using stock studs, machine splines, and press them in, but that would require more machining time, cost a little more, etc etc. Gimme input on whether you'd take spacers, or adapters!

Not really room for profit, just gettin the name out.

Anyone have any input on improving them, without harming structural integrity?

Dan, of TheIceCream fame, suggested i should also anodize em. Make them all pretty. Then i got to thinkin, I should anodize my stock suspension components! :keke:

slip ons for +24 is dangerous, you will need new hubs + hardware for that. I predict some deaths if anyone buys these spacers

I wouldnt want to use 6061 because of how soft it is. 7075 is a good bit more dense and how much are we talking for these deals? h&r which are magnesium alloy blend are I think 80 bucks for a 20mm pair which supposively comes with longer studs if you order from TireRack

I already have a set of billet aluminium ones with 60mm studs that are hubcentric. BTW they are 25mm. BTW these things take a beating and they are hard as f*ck to scratch. I'd say go with what you know, but sometimes the guenia pig of a new product can luck out with something kick ass.
