I'm in the process of finishing my car...which is taking forever. But its coming along. I noticed another guy on here and his cage...which was INSANE. Mine is a little more mild. Check it out. The built KA will be done in 2 weeks and will then get the Phat KAT treatment.

Looks good, i'm not going to pretend that i know the first thing about roll cages and design but it looks great. Whats the silver stuff covering where you back seat would be?

I cant leave the tubing bare or else it will rust. So i'm going to paint it black for now, possibly a bronze color in the future to match my wheels. Here's my KAT list:

s13 block and head (completely rebuilt)
forged aris 8.8:1 89.5mm pistons
Shot peened stock rods
arp head, main, rod fasteners
ferrea vlaves
s13 cams
cometic .054" headgasket
^thats the majority of the internals

Phat kat gt32 .63ar turbo
phat kat manifold+dp
tial 38mm .8bar wastegate

^^^what's so what about the door bars?
they arent designed to prevent intrustion into the passenger compartment, just chassis rigidity. If i wanted that I would have gotten a cage. This is a street car so i tried to keep the tubing away from my head.

oh, and the silver stuff is sound deadening...it only weighed 35lbs. I'm trying to make this an enjoyable daily driver with weekend track capabilities ala SOLO.

Ivan doesn't work at Sound Performance anymore. He works for AMS now. Phat-Kat is still up though since it was always owned by Sound Performance.
