I'm about to pick up a set. Anyone have these?
I tried searching but didn't find anything for this model.

I have a set of Sustec Pro SS on a 95 240sx se w/ stock rims and yoko es100 tires. Much improvement over worn stock shocks in terms of being able to hang the turns. I love turns!!! :hsdance: Kinda rough over bumpy roads, although I'm sure all coilovers are pothole averse. Afterwards, I got the front Tanabe adj pillow ball mounts and ruca to fix the neg camber to save my tires (The SS set that I got didn't come with either front or rear upper pillow ball mounts). After I put those on, the rear seemed to be lacking something. The rear felt a little loose or not too "planted" while accelerating out of a turn (probably just my imagination). Anyway, installed Tanabe rear upper pillow ball mounts and the rear felt a little more planted or more stable (again, probably just my imagination). I don't drift, take it to the track, race or anything like that... just a little "spirited" driving now and then, so I don't know how it handles at the LIMIT. In retrospect, because I had to purchase the upper pillowball mounts separately, I think it might have been better (cheaper or almost the same price) to have just purchased the DD's. I think those come with the upper pillow ball mounts already. And I think adjusting the height on the ss may affect spring rate or stiffness somehow, while the dd's can adj height independent of the spring rate, not sure though. You might want to check further into that. Anyway, sorry for the long reply. If I don't make any sense, please excuse me... This is my first post. :eek3:

No more reviews on these coilovers?? I was thinking about getting these coilovers. My Kei Office XRs are a little too much for Daily driving

Yo, I've got these coilovers right now, had em for about 5 months now. I've never had any other suspension setups other than...blown...so I can't really compare :p But here goes...

Adjustability is great, can't really screw that up. Shocks are actually made by KYB, they might just be AGXs, not sure though. 4 way up front, 8 way out back. Springs are tanabe, 6kg/4kg. A little soft, even for me (I'm not hardcore drifter or anything, just spirited driving), but it's not that bad.

About the rear "planting", I had the same problem. I solved it by stiffening up my rear shocks, I think they're at 7 right now. It grips way better now; before, it used to kinda slough around in the rear and slide more. Felt really sloppy. Now it's a lot tighter, and I can corner harder without kicking it out, and it feels more in control.

Oh yeah, btw, I have stock sunflower 15" rims and shitty econotires on (federal avengers)

i tracked my car with them, they are pretty much like a spring/shock combo without the upper pillow mounts. they are not height adjustable and the spring rate is real soft. They are good for a daily driven car that also sees the track on ocassion. heres good info on em http://www.upgrademotoring.com/performance/tanabe/pros-sII_sus.htm

maybe he means double height adjustable

these are probably good for this guy since he isn't gonna go hardcore stripped racer or anything, should be livable on the street

haha i mean REALLY height adjustable, not just dropping the springs fucking up your shock travel and leavin the springs bouncin around the perch.

Oh ok, sorry. I haven't really looked at that, but I thought I understood that it was adjustable without affecting shock travel?
