hey guys, i just changed the oil filter, coolant, and oil, and now when i turn the key to ign, i get nothing. I hear a click but that's it, the engine doesn't even try to start. I've charged my battery for at least an hour now.
Any ideas?

if battery is cmopletely fucked it won't start even if you hook up a jump box. i suggest you test the battery and if you have to borrow one from another car to rule it out .

If it is a single click it's most likely one of two things. Either the starter is dead, or your starter relay is malfunctioning. The relay is in the engine bay on the passanger side front. Check that with a voltage meter. You can also try to wack the starter with a hammer as someone tries turn it over. If the starter is siezed this may free it up and allow it to turn over once or twice.
If it is a bunch of clicks than it is probably the battery or a loose wire.
Good Luck!

If you cant figure out what the starter is, its the thing with the sticker that has a picture of a hammer with an X over it...hahah. I dont know if Nissans have that but I know some cars do. Just look around really slowly/carefully and see if you knocked a wireloose possibly or maybe bumped a relay hard enough to knock it off the prongs

charging it for an hr means nothing if we dunno the amperage....
for reference, I have a tiny lil Odyssey 925. They say you should charge for at least 2.5hrs at 10A, then take readings and charge more as necessary...
Depending on your battery, YMMV... but I'd wager that 1 hr isn't enough unless you're charging at like 12-15A, but then I dunno what kind of battery you have, or what it's CA/CCA ratings are.
Do your accessories work? can you roll your windows up and down on just battery power? or can you see/hear them slow down as your roll them up/down?
Easiest just to take your battery to a Schucks/Les Schwab/autozone/pep boys/etc, and have them do a load test. It's free, and at least that way you can rule out the battery, one way or another.
Hope that helps!

I bet so too. Check the plug that pushes onto the starter (onto the single prong).
