Just wondering if anybody has had any fitment issues with greddy front strut bar. It seems to just clear the valve cover, but is resting on the black cover on top of the injectors right beside the valve cover. My car is a 93 se hatch. My car regularly idles @700rpm, but since the install it idles constantly @1500rpm and won't drop.

Any Idea?

My Greddy FSTB is right up against my KA valve cover. It had room until I replaced the engine mounts. How does installing a STB effect idle. There is a little bolt thing you can screw in to lower/raise idle on the passenger side rear of the engine.

Thats what I'm saying, I don't know why in the hell the idle is all messed up after installing the strut bar, it makes no sense, Totally un related, but my car was driving fine, 15 minutes later after the install, it's idling high and won't drop, my ride to work is 15mins, and at every stop it stayed at 1500rpm. ???

did you pull or kink any lines while you were installing your bar?

None that I'm aware of, I'll double check everything in the morning, but the install is as basic as it can get.

got home, checked my throttle cable and it was kinked just a little so it tucked a little under the bar, straighted it out, car is buttery smooth again. I cant believe a little kink like that could make such a difference.
Thanks for the help,
