SSR Professors or Work Meister S1's. Thats an insanely well known wheel. Please do a search before asking a question next time.

EDIT: hahaha we were thinking the same thing! Seriously man, i dunno what the deal is. The frequency of questions like this is getting rediculous.

I'm sorry I have no clue what rims are which. I don't keep a detailed rolodex of rims in my house so I have to come to a website where I believe people would be happy to just answer my question with the needed info and not have to throw in their opinions on my "rim knowledge".

it cool; its all on the net j0. try takumiproject.com next time.

so I have to come to a website where I believe people would be happy to just answer my question with the needed info and not have to throw in their opinions

then zilvia is not your website, and the internet is not your medium. this is an internet forum, not an encyclopedia.

on my "wheel knowledge".

fixed

where did the term "RIM" come from? is it like how "dubs" were known to be?

Like whats been said by a few members already, the fact that you dont know what they are isnt the problem. What is a problem is the fact that you could've EASILY found the answer yourself without having to start a whole new thread on it. Its a waste of our bandwidth and its a sign of apparent laziness on your part that the mods and pretty much every other member on this forum cant stand. Run a search next time and we wont have to deal with this.

What search word would I look under for future reference??

For "Wheels" I got:

Showing results 1 to 35 of 500
Search took 52.26 seconds.

"Rims" I got:

Showing results 1 to 35 of 500
Search took 55.46 seconds

"SSR" I got:
Showing results 1 to 27 of 27
Search took 1.10 seconds

So you can see that top 2 choices for me to search would of yielded the max amount the website will put together of 500 just in the CHAT forum alone. SO I had to ask for help before I could search for it...

Hmmm, I see a pink status in your future if you can't turn off the hostility towards the mods. Also, why didn't you just pm the poster of the pics, which happens to be WeSt, the creator of this forum? Use some common sense.
Oh wait, you don't have any.

You guys are so friggen uppity. He makes a valid point, if he doesn't know the name of the wheel or the company that makes them what is he gonna search for?

80% of this forum are garbage/useless posts anyways so I don't see why his post is such a big deal. Just ignore it instead of trying to pad your post count.

while the guy has a valid point the wheel is well known as hell.

thats pretty much like askin which zigen rim is the most widely used. its fuggin everywhere.

imma let this one slide due to the legitimate ignorance of the guy.

Is this implying that you knew they were SSR's? If thats the case, then you just proved that you were indeed lazy and instead of running a simple search on google, that iirc searches THE ENTIRE WORLD WIDE WEB, that easily would've yeilded you your answer, you decided to post here. I really hope i'm reading that wrong.

LIKE I SAID, the problem that i have is that it APPEARS that you didnt put any effort into finding out your own answers. Whether its wheels, SR swaps, suspension tuning, doesnt matter. If it appears to me that you or anybody else for that matter is just looking for a handout without even attempting your own research and you start a thread, i'm going to say something about it. Simple as that. If you did search though, then cool. But may i suggest including that in your post next time. It atleast shows that some effort was put in. And it saves things from getting all blown out of proportion.

atom, nobody is getting upity...If i wanted to be a dick about it, i could've just said "F you, you're pink for making this thread" and locked the whole damn thing. Did i do that? Obviously not. And i could careless about my post count. There's a lot of people on here who havent been here as long me and have atleast double my posts AND i'm a mod. Perhaps you're trying to up your post count? I mean, considering you're post contributed zero to this thread.....i dunno, just an observation.

Most the the ppl on here are correct. SP1 are very much known and the thread starter couldve figured it out by searching first. If you can find it then make a thread. And yea, being an ass to ppl who you are trying to get help from doesnt help.

My Rebutal:
Well I didn't have a clue what rims those were. If I did I would of searched for them as shown in my SSR stats. I used that fact to show that going from very broad to something more valid, like the term SSR, will give much more promise and not be impossible.

Second I used the search stats to back up my claim that even if I did a search for a general term like "Wheels" or "Rims" my search would of put me 10 hours into theads looking for somthing similar which is not the point of a online forum in my eyes.

Ok i see what you did. May i suggest for the next time, just saying you did a search or something along those lines. That way, it just lets us know that you're not another one of the lazy asses that comes on here all the time. No harm done man. Now everybody, big group hug! hahahaha

Well, they could have answered your question in one reply, but people here like to be asses. If you search for something on here you'll probably find other threads that tell you to search, then a few hours later you'll find the one thread that answers it.
