$110. shipped (48 states), regular price on these is $110 + $12 to ship.
Hey all,
I did this GB about 2 years ago and it was great. I know for a fact that there are guys that are still running these pulleys after about 60K miles (engines are still strong). Forget the hype about harmonics and all that bullsh*t. These pulleys have been proven to last.
I have seven available to ship. So please send your payments. I will keep tabs on stock at the factory, in case there are more inquiries.
So here is the breakdown for payment...
If you live in California, I add sales tax. If you live outside California it is $110 shipped.
If you pay by credit card or paypal then I add 3% to the order.

Are these for KA or SR? I'm hoping for KA. Also, do you have any dyno tests showing the possible gains? Definitely interested.
thanks,

Are the timing marks correct on this pulley? Do you have some pics you can throw up to show the key location compared to the timing marks and the overall fit and finish of the product?
Thanks!

C,
Sorry no dyno charts. Gain's are 0 HP. Freed up parisitically lost HP is about 5-7 hp. The pulleys will not give gains of any sort, it helps recover lost horsepower by reducing rotational mass.
Hope that helps.

Fred,
I do not have a stock pulley lying around anywhere. The timing marks are identical to the stock timing marks. On my old S14, I remember adjusting the timing using the ASP Pulley and reading the timing marks. ASP is made in the USA, it is not a taiwanese made part. The quality of the pulleys is excellent. They are not anodized blue/red/black because that does affect the coefficient of friction between the belt and pulley. The pulley's are silver.
Again, these are great quality units. Many of our customer's as well as the other owner of this shop mate the pulley with a lightened flywheel.

True, I guess I should have said whp gains, since that's where the difference will occur. Anyway, I'm still interested. Are there any adverse effects on power steering and alternator charging?
thanks,
Charlie

Charlie,
There are no major negative impact on alternator charging and electrical things of that nature. If you have a high powered audio system (it's ok to have audio, not everyone drifts on this board) there are no ill affects. I would suspect anyone running a 800W or greater amp will probably have a cap of some sort anyway.
I forgot to answer your question earlier, it's for the KA. THere is a SOHC and DOHC model.
Thank you for the interest. If you want to place an order, please do so online!
Thank you

does this require a new belt, or does it use the same one?

The ASP uses an alternative belt size because it is an underdrive, not just lightened.
Thank you
Chris
