I just dont know his offsets...looks like -5mm F and maybe -20mm R

I'm about to buy some wheels with an extreme offset and I want to see what his wheels and my wheels are close or similar in fitment.

well I just bought some Work Meister S1's w/ the extreme offsets

17x9 -69
17x10 -52

I'm just doing some research on some comparable cars and what sizes they ran and making similar adjustments to make the wheels fit.

So thats why I'm here....

17x10 -52et = 18x13 -16et

the 18's arent that S13's offsets, but thats what the 17x9/10 would equate to.
Definately will not fit unless you go with an even more ridiculous flares than those on the S13.

if you are referring to Chmercers mods, then no it will not fit with the same mods.

why in God's name would you do this? you can already fit a lot of tire in the stock wheel wells when rolled but when you add flares AND run stupid offsets but fail to actually make the rims wider it seems like much adeau about nothing.

with that much fender you could be running over 295's but instead people are content with crap.

Turning? How are you going to turn? I had to bang the fuck out my my wheel wells to get my 17x9 -6s to clear without rubbing everything (235/40/17). Tucking the tread of the tire. Yeah i know its low, but a 17x9 -6 with 20mm FRP fenders... and you want -63 more! That means you'll need to run a +83mm FRP fender!!!

And don't get me started about the rears!!!

If Doriftoslut is indeed correct about the need for 83mm flares then you should run some 50mm overfenders with some 30mm flares molded to 'em. I can't really picture how it would look but it definetly gives you wide enough fenders to run those wheels flush.

but yea the rear will fit no sweat with just version select flares, anyone who tells you different is wrong. but you are on your own for the front. id say maybe d max front fenders with a rivet on flare is gonna be your best bet, and if you did that, id suggest toning down the version select overfender in the back and using a rivet on flare to give it some more symmetry.

if you cant find the flare size you want, i suggest having a shop weld some sheet metal to it im assuming its expensive for labor, but might be your only choice.

Flares aren't supposed to blend in. The rivet-on flares on the yellow S14 look way better than that goofball widebody white Kouki.

I still think that jspec S13 looks awesome, I don't care if the tires are retarded. You don't go buying bigass bosozoku-lookin' flares and obnoxiously expensive wheels to go drifting on them anyway, that's not the point. I'm sure the owner is well aware that it's not particularly functional.

^If it's not functional, then it's pointless. That was my point, and it's my opinion. Show cars are a waste of money, and in most cases a waste of a decent car. Now if you're going widebody so you can put the most tire on the ground for as mcuh added traction as possible, then it's cool. If you're trying to squeeze wheels on your car so you can show off your super cool JDM 8" of lip that forces you put silly looking fenders on your car and makes it next to impossible to turn,then it's just fuggin stupid.

Man I told you not to buy those wheels haha.....it's going to be a biatch to clear coilovers, turning radius, etc. You'll ruin your daily driver trying to fit those rediculous wheels in the space alotted.....

All I gotta say is if you go widebody 50mm and add flares to that and possible extend it out a bit more with fiberglass work you might have something...but by that time your car is going to look like a JGT500 car...well the fenders F/R back will at least...... :ugh:

Ah, the black coupe discussion again... In person, the car used to look evil as hell. Saw it in Little Tokyo several years back. I recently ran into the car in Alhambra, just sitting on the street, covered in dust, with body damage and stock wheels in those rear fenderwells... Just try to imagine some stockies in the rear :D.
