Apple iPod nano

Apple is replacing the iPod mini with the iPod nano. It comes in two varieties, 2GB and 4GB, $199 and $249 respectively.

If I were trendy and cool, I would SO want one of these... Unfortunately, on the other hand, I already have:
- A computer at home for my MP3s
- 3 DVD players in the house that play MP3 discs
- MP3 deck in the car
- computer I sit at while I am at work that plays MP3s
... and in such, didn't even desire a regular iPod

I'm getting sick of Apple's smart business practices. They keep advancing technology and instead of keeping the older stuff and dropping the price they just discontinue it. It makes it much harder for me to be able to afford one. Fuck heads.

im very happy with my $50 512mb mp3 player thats the size of a pack of gum. USB 2.0, Plays FM radio, records fm radio, takes voice memos... Maybe not as cool as an ipod but it gets the job done.

having all that space (15 gig, or even 4 ) is kind of unneccessary. Sure you can unload your whole mp3 collection on there but you never listen to all of it. Best bet is to have a small player and just update the list like every week with what your listening to at the time. No point in having all that space if you only listen to small parts of it at each time.
