Well i got eagle h-beam rods right now. Motor is making about 400 whp and they are fine. But now im moving up to a gt35r, 1000 cc injectors and a bunch of other stuff...
What have you guys heard about eagle rods. Do you guys think they can support 600 whp, has anyone seen them hold 600 whp on import under boost. The only applications ive seen them hold alot of power were on v8's... Gimme your opinons people..

Yes but dont you think a company would want you to think that there own item is better then most out there. Them saying oh our item cant handle that, will only give them a bad rep.. Thats the way i see it..

True, but if they make a claim and then their product doesn't stand up to it...Lawsuit.

Most companies don't make claims. Claims cause problems because there are simply too many variables in tuning.
Notice that most aftermarket pistons and rods are warranted against manufacturing defects ONLY. This is because too many people blow too much shit up due to improper tuning.

If you really want some indestructable rods, you should look into some Carillo's. Here's a link http://www.carrilloind.com/

I have heard that they are good for 425Hp. This is what my customers tell me. rather the "word on the street" take it for what you want. Call eagle and ask if you think their product would be good for your SR20 running x lbs producing an estimated 600HP. Ask the tech line not the sales line for obvious reasons. I do have a customer that runs eagles in his sr20 and has pulled 475HP at 22psi with a hybrid turbo and they havn't grenaded yet and he beats the crap out of that car but never the less. Only 4k on the rebuild so no long term effects can be read. I honesly don't think they will hold 600HP though. The rod is quite thin and is the cheapest out there. I think your HP target would eleminate the use of "budget" parts in your engine.

This is on SGP Racing's website
Eagle H Beam Rods have been proven up to 850HP. You will not find another comparable rod at this price! Made from Forged 4340, and all sets come with ARP 230,000 PSI Rod bolts, and silicon Bronze Bushings.

Pauter rods are supposed to be really good too, you might want to consider those
