sunroof install?

please dont do this...

its hard enough to find 240's without sunroofs.

keep the hardtop, it looks cleaner, its lighter, and of course, adds a bit of structural strength.

DO NOT get an aftermarket sunroof.

If you want wind in your hair so bad, just get another 240 with a sunroof and let someone else have the priveledge of owning a sunroof-less roof.

Sunroof doesn't add but *maybe* 15 lbs. You guys need to quit crying.

As for adding one, the only aftermarket that will fit is a pop-up, either manual or electric. The electric one slides back over the roof and looks like total and complete ass. Not worth it.

Isn't adding weight to the top of your car (or any of the extremeties) worse? And conversely, removing weight from the top also better?

of course, but on a street car it's not like any normal human being could tell a difference.

Now cutting a hole in a roof without adding proper bracing.. that would be noticable.

i have a moon roof? its like just that glass that lifts in the back i think its the best of both worlds, no weight. and it does reliese the hot air when i jump in it. Body rigity? hahaha i got a custom race cage going in it.. so i could have a covertable, but it would still be more rigid then yours... :bash:
