Im probably going to get flamed but I did search, just wasnt sure which words to search for.
My ac works fine, all controls work........but when you put it on heat it will not heat up AT ALL.
My 1st assumption is heater core, any ideas? Thanks

And btw...if your looking at my stock KA, coming out of the passenger side firewall is about a 2 inch thick black hose that is just sitting by itself with an open end, (next to HICAS) I assume this has something to do with my heater? I believe that because it seemed as if I saw some junkyard cars with that hose connected to a metal piece and running towards the back of the motor?

Thanks!

Post a picture, so we can get a better picture.

Otherwise I would assume your thermostat is stuck open. Unless the heater core is indeed not hooked up like you stated.

I can get a picture until tomorrow night but its a large rubber hose coming off the firewall, in between in HICAS junk and the injectors, about in the middle. it comes down to a 90 degree angle and is just sitting there open. I think it connects to something?!

Hicas junk or ABS junk?
