I think its hot. Kinda like the older BMW 3 series cars but not weak yuppie garbage.
Cars that are styled modern and new looking always end up looking dated. Nothing you can do about that except stick to classic design cues to help with their astetic lifespan. Look at cars like the last two generations of DSM Eclipse! Silly looking.

personally ive owned a 510, and i loved that car.... but anyways to the point.. i would definetly like a change in headlights something with a more flare then a rounded one.. and with HID... engine could use a change.. would be nice to see a SR in the bay.and a change up for the brakes..im thinkin brembo or z32.. would definetly be enough... if nissan decided to bring back the 510 i would definetly have one when it arrives...
