Either the rods stretched or the rod bolts failed.

daayuum!! ouchy. hope my chit doesnt do that. what did you have as far as engine, mods, output and how driven?

GT3071, 264/272, 850cc's AEM EMS, valve springs, RAS, ARP studs, grex HG, etc.. driven hard. On boost for 2-3 mins at a time.

on a side note: after seeing this..is it a good idea to go with the eagle forged rods?
ahh...too many g forces for those bolts ehh? I wonder how high you can rev with better ones.

Of course it is, if you have the cash it is NEVER a bad idea to go with forged rods.
