Why can't we "chat" about the picture and how the D2's are too stiff? Haha I think the car jumped because of that huge crevasse there.
P.S. In case you couldn't tell I'm a noob.
Both wheels are off the ground guys! ;)
yeah, it's motorsports-ish.. ;)

Next time I wanna see all 4 off of the ground!
What spring rates did you go with on your d2's? How have you liked them so far? Ive heard some people with complaints and others damn stoked on them. Stupid coilover decision is still raging in my head
9/7 is the springrate...
gotta love them on a very smooth surface... but when it gets rough, the coilovers won't work well...
up she goes...

The second set of pictures is much better, crikey!
how can 3 wheeling judge stiffness?
all that show is distance that the struts can travel.
all full coilovers do that.

It's shows stiffness b/c the springs did not absorb the bump.. they launched the car off it.

man, that is one shitty autocross track.

parking lot too bumpy imo
(for your application)
yeah, the lot sucked big time, but the track layout sucked more. The next day, the layout was different and avoided jumps...
BTW, that is not 3 wheelin', that doing wheelies! ;)

Shouldn't let a woman drive your car...
I can get the FLEXes airborne but everyone says they are too soft...
Coilovers suck for bumpy roads / street usage...
pff...99% of the time, i'd rather be on coilovers then stock suspension

all depends on where you drive, i actually think i would prefer 7/5 over a standard 8/6 or 9/7. Being that my car sees 85% of its live on the street and only 15% at a track, but sadley those options are rarely offered.
I guess i'm just not "hardcore"....
My car only sees the street to get to the track... and our Montreal streets are so bad, it looks like a 3rd world country. Usually, our Auto-x tracks/lots are much better than that too...

"You got like 3ft of air that time. Sweet!"
My friend has d2's and slammed his car. He goes a bit over board with his lowering fascination and ends up getting stuck every other day. Where Im getting with this is, he has them set so stiff, that its funny watching him drive down the street with his car bouncing up an down. As far as his dampening setting, I don’t think it would be any different if he welded a medal beam from the spindle to the strut tower.

I think his gf is cool for going to auto-x events. She owns a nice car too. lol
My GF owns most guys at driving... and she will own my car in a straight line once the 1JZ his in her car. ;)
