I don't remember offhand, but it's close to an M24x1.25, very hard to find size. You're better off finding an axle.

When I mushroomed my axles, I just grinded off the unusable threads until I could get the bolt back on. I had to grind off about 1/8 of an inch of threads.

thats what i was thinking too because the unusable threads are right at the end...just imagine the first three-four threads, then a 2-3mm gash perpendicular to the threads...you think i should grind it off or just go along the threads with a hacksaw/exacto to cut thru the grooves the gash made?..for the sake of the specs i said that i cross threaded it, but its just a gash...seeing how r240na said its a hard to find size, for the time being, ill just try to rethread it somehow via ghettoness...

yah man axels are dime a dozen, actaully I had to pay about 50 for mine shipped, so anything you can get lower is a decent deal. shipping is the biggest thing, they are like 25 bux picked up from places.

damn...this is the second time youve offered me replacement parts in a bind, but your too far to wait for shipping...if you were local, i would definitely give you a ton of business...thanks for the offer, but i got the nut back on...like i was saying, it was just a gash...so in a last ditch effort to get the car outta my friends house with a mom that would bite your head off, i just torqued it and hoped for the best...it worked out well, didnt strip the nut, bolt, or cross thread anything...
