The car is FAST and really fun to drive. It makes it all worth it when you drive it. 2 years of never driving the car that I've put so much money into. Crazy. Let me know what you think!

man that car has it's color of it's own man. DOn't diss the missed matched.

Ok. I think you want a roll bar or some kind of cage. Also better rims, something with a fat 2-3inch lip hehe...

better whells?!? Volk TE37's are just fine with me. I'm just not so cool on the huge wheel look. Smaller wheels are almost awlays better for performance. No compromise all race.

it is that NEW loophole, kinda like asking questions that have been asked a million times, but saying "I searched" so as to not get burned

LOL, I was wondering why all these pics weren't in the pic thread. . .

But then again, the list of mods definately isn't criteria fitting into the picture thread, so maybe he HAS found a loophole in the pic thread rules.

No, you can list the mods and shit in the picture thread, in fact it is the preferred method to avoid the "OMFG, what kinda wheels are those?" questions from cluttering up the picture thread like they did the first one.

not feelin the spoiler either....hows about getting a zenki lip? but everything else looks great...well when you paint it. heh

DJPimpFlex
08-31-2005, 11:56 AM
yea I need a lip. I know no one but me likes the spoiler, but whatever. I dont really dig the wangan or type x. This is a little bit more unique, except I saw it on another S13 and thats where I got the idea. I didnt know about some loophole thing, but if its a big deal I can take the pics down.

I never knew they made five spoke Te37's. I always thought they were six spoke. :duh:

DJPimpFlex
08-31-2005, 07:17 PM
They made them in 5 spoke up until 1997 (or at least thats what the inside of the wheel says). I've only sceen 2 sets of 5 spoke TE37's and only one in white (mine). I love these rims.

the wing is like the one (and only) wing you can buy on GT4. can't say i cared for it on the game, so it kinda carries over. but at least it's not a aluminum dual wing shopping cart handle.......could have been alot worse. but screw what everyone else thinks, If you like it it's better than any comment you'll get here

i hate the wing and the color of the rims (white w/ blue... looks tacky). i'm not a big fan of the lights either but, thats the "JDM tyte" thing to do, so w/e. otherwise, looks nice and i bet its pretty quick.

1 question... why the hell has it taken you 2 years to get so far? lol.

mistaanime

the wing would look tite..if you get wide body with hella flush rims hehe

Well I happen to love the wheels, and thats my personal preference. The lights are MUCH lighter than USDM stock. No motors or anything. Also the cf hood is hella light. The lighting is also much better than usdm stock. Thats why I got 3 projectors instead of bricks. If you look at the caliber of the mods I have I think I've done pretty good without any help from anyone financially. I'm 19 and I work for $11/hr and I have to pay rent and bills and shit. On top of that I have a car that is worth over $15,000 that I OWN. No payments of other BS. I think I've done really well comming from a shell to this. So 2 years is pretty damn good if you ask me.

if you have to pay a high rent, then i can see why. what car is worth over $15,000? you must own another car right? :coolugh:

DJPimpFlex

Wheels and Tires:
Volk TE37’s - $875

Longacre Carbon Fiber Starter switch pannel - $80

So that adds up to $14,928 + all the parts I had to re-buy (fenders, master clyinder, corner lights . . the list goes on), and labor for other things besides engine install (I did most my self, but somethings had to go to the shop.) Paying for the car to be transported arround via trailer (I have a friend with a trailer so he took it around for me for cheap, but it still adds up. I had to drive 6+ hours to get the shell.) So anyway I have spent well into $15k, and I got really good deals on a lot of stuff. The battle version linkage I got all of it and a parts car for $500 from Alex Pfiffer. So there you go.

well it was $420 for the whole brake setup up front (pads{axxis}, rotors, lines, calipers [rebuilt]). All the other prices are for the rear only. I know its not worth $15k, but i could part out for close to that, but thats how much I spent.

yeah, i forgot how quick it adds up and i skipped over a lot of what you wrote down. pretty nice lookin car, not what i'd do myself, but its nice and looks to be done right. was the car hit in the front though before? the headlights dont seem to meet up perfect with the hood. what color is the car gonna be painted? i'm guessing the same color blue as the frims.

the sad thing is, i bet you could get close to $15,000 for it from some retarded sucker in Cali once its painted.

yea no its pretty good. its going to be silver. The conversion needs a little tuning, but the cars never been hit. It was an automatic car, so it want driven hard.

just because its auto doesn't mean it wasnt driven hard.
I drove the hell out of my auto. (as much hell as my mediocre driving would allow)
I picked up a coupe from a guy that drove the hell out of it.

To those of you that have a problem with the new Picture Thread...
Tough Shit, end of story. Everyone complained that the old Thread was a mass of bullshit comment posts with too few pics. Not you're complaining there are too many pics and not enough comments?? Use the PM feature provided by Zilvia if you wish to ask a question or comment on someones car. If you're butthurt that people can't tell you how "Super JDM Kewl!!" you are because of your car, then go play on Cardomain or RateMyRide, not Zilvia.net.
