Well i think im going to sell my s14 and get a shifter cart. Seems like a good idea since i can pick up a truck and have money left to buy a cart. I've been googling, Does anyone have more info like how much a monthly cost is. I paintball, probably like 3k in guns alone and spend about 600 a month.. Im hope carting isnt as expensive (monthly cost)

Any cart places near irvine?

What karts have you driven? What are your plans in karting? You could probably pick up a decent used kart for $4k with some extras. If you're looking to compete be prepared to spend TONS of money.

I raced karts since I was 13 years old, having stopped just in the past couple years. A shifter kart is very very very expensive! If you can find a true competitive shifter kart for under 4-5K your lucky! Like cars, kart technology changes so fast 05 chassis are basically already opsolite. Now if your intrested in jumping into karting you can pick up a 2 cycle or 4 cycle engine thats competitive on a national level for about 2-3k and a chassis for about the same depending. I raced Stock Lite 4 cycle the high banked tracks you could look at speeds at 80-90 mph in the draft, even though thats no where near as fast as a shifter kart its also about $10k a year less to run. Its insane and anyone that says its not never seen it in person or drove one.

As for months costs on a kart heres what you have to figure in.

Just like regular race cars tires are only good for a limited amount of laps before they lose there stickiness depending on the compound rule for the class your running. Expect to pay around $50-70 a tire and you obviously need 4...

Oil gets changed after everytime you make a run at about $12 a qt. so expect to go through about 2-3 gallons a month

Engine refresh, grings, valves and ect need to be changed altleast once a month so expect to pay $200-300 in parts and another $200 in labour unless you feel like trying it yourself.

other than that, expect an extra $100-400 spent on broken parts, unexpected needed parts and whatever else.

registration and track insurance fees expect around $40 a pop so around $160ish a month.

like SRmike said if you wanna me competitive be prepared to drop a large chunk of money into it every year. Even in the juniors my parents spend in the thousands to race year round indoor and outdoor and thats only racing east coast and lower Canadian events.

You should try taking girls back to your place and getting busy. Its not too involved if you send them on their way in the morning.

why go that far when you can just get busy in the car and drop them off... besides, those days are done. I'm settled down now at the young age of 21. You all might think its a bad idea.. but i'll probably be better off than most of you. :)

You can't settle down at 21, unless you're married already. She sounds hot, got any pics? J/k unless you want to pm them to me.
