my car stolen :(

my car was stolen today between the hours of 4 pm and 6:30 pm, from the signature theaters, in modesto, california.
s13 fastback(1990), burgundy, GP-Sports exhaust, dent in passenger fender, with a falken drift sticker on the dent. lowered with tein s-tech's, stock hubcaps back on teh car, nizmo(ebay style) steering wheel on it. only other things on the car were a sony xplod deck(gone) rear 6x9's (jokes on you you fucks because they were blown and the deck was going to shit anyways and i hope you fucking rot in fucking heLL!) and a vlsd. new clutch prolly gone to shit now, as well as transmission prolly beat to hell. fogged up cluster. and a broadway mirror. all the details i can give right now, because i am on my way to the airport to pick up my mom.
license plate nbr was 3XOE692. help a bro out, and if you see it give me a heads up, my cell nbr is now 209 345 0667, if any one finds it, lemme know please.... i will be constantly searching for it and parts if i find them on any of these forums, you fucks will be dealt with. this car was my baby, and now all i can think of is how you fucks have probably destroyed and maimed her now. and if you are on this forum, i hope you see this, and i hope you feel bad for what you did, because i never deserved this to happen. you guys have balls, stealing it in broad daylight, shit the doors and everything was locked up............fucking hope you have fun wasting my full tank of gas too. ur all gonnna die when i find out who did it. autoloc doesnt work apparantly. doors were locked...parked close to the building, in the middle of FUCKING BROAD DAYLIGHT! i had all keys accounted for, never let anyone borrow my car, shit i have been the only one to ever drive it. all i have to say to the guy who stole it is thanks :mrmeph: :bash:

clutch lock. sucks balls apparantly. cuz it s gone. those lil fucks did it clean too... no broken glass or anything....either someone was out to get my car (i dont know why, the most expensive thing i had on it was the exhaust) or someone's got a masterkey.. (to the cars) still havent heard anything...so im assuming shes gone, stripped, burned.... if i get it back, hopefully its salvageable and someone willl take it off my hands. waiting to hear from the police still.

s13 240sx has to be on the list of the world's easiest cars to break into... frameless windows, hell you can get one open in about 5 seconds without breaking the glass....
makes having an effective theft deterrant that much more important.
never heard of autoloc though.

no only the paint on the bumpers were beat up, then some dude backed into me and fuxord the fender. other than that the car was very clean. the only thing that made it look like it was worth anything was the exhaust, and steering wheel if you looked inside the car. other than that it looked and was pretty much stock. bought it, completely stock, and now as soon as i put in some stuff, it gets stolen. couldnt have stolen a stock one, since there are plenty of those around eh? had to have stolen one with an exhaust. lil ricer fucks. also, does it take the police this long to find a car? im thinking im never going to find it, or its going to be stripped and burned...should i call the police station after i go to the college?

Man that's fucked up... Autoloc is a Clutch Club.. i use one but now u make me think there useless... did you even have an alarm? i do autoloc, alarm, and removeable stearing wheel. seems to be working.. im bout to add an ecu kill switch and fuel pump kill switch completly hidden. hopefully it helps me keep my car =x. good luck finding yours. im in complete socal San Diego. so im no use but ill keep an eye out for it.

Usually the cops won't find anything unless the theives abandon the car in a public area.

I must point out, for anyone else who's reading, you can't just have one piece of antitheft and hope thats its going to deter theives... there are ways around EVERYTHING -- autolock, alarm, kill switches etc etc etc.

A good theif or even someone who's remotely competent can bypass all of these things, and if they really want your car, they're gonna take it.

240SXes are very very very easy to break into.

Only real thing you can do as far as theft prevention, is just add as many things to your car as you can that'll make it a hassle to steal your car.

Caoboy, if you haven't called the cops yet, you need to, ASAP. This way, if your car is abandoned and/or found, they will call you and you wont have to wait to get the bill from the impound lot.

He mounted a pair of VERY bright strobe lights on his a-pillar. If the alarm wasnt de-activated, the strobes would turn on if the engine started. When his car was broken into, the cops easily tracked it down "he got to the end of the street, and couldnt drive the car...he could f&%^#*$ see anything. The strobes caught the cops attention, and had an easy arrest.

the muffler from the axle back, not the WHOLE thing from the catback, but just the axle back. IDIOTS.
ignition is broken, but the car still dives fine. im amazed...i never thought i would find it, and cops called today at 1:20pm said they stopped some people driving my car!
What i think happened was that someone stole the car, took parts off it, and sold it/gave it to some tweekers who were driving the car when they got stopped.
all in all i think she's gonna be ok. i need a new ignition, window cranks, and a stereo/speakers, and she will be ok again. car drives fine, i drove it home. the people who were driving it were some of those crazy people you see walking around the streets at 3am, well i guess they found someone to give them a car. The ignition was broken, yet some how they were using a chrysler key, a really short one to start the car. i guess they left it in there, because when i got home with the car i took it out and put my key in and the ignition was locked and would not work for me..so i guess it's busted now, no biggie, im just glad to have her back...almost three months and they find it basically whole...guess the cops do come in handy sometimes after all lol. The thing that sucks is that it smells like a fucking cigarrette...i gutted the whole thing already and am cleaning all carpets/seats, and panels and trying to get rid of that fucken smell....

It's a bit off topic, but I had a few hispanic (nothing racial) guys come up to me and ask me about my car. If it had a motor, where I lived, if I frequently went there (was at the beach). After that I walked away thinking WHY would they ask me that, and it becomes more apparent as I read these posts.

Stealing a 240 and reselling it for parts doesn't get you much. I mean, the car is old and parts are easy to find. Sometimes I guess that it could be other 240 owners that do this, or have friends that have 240s and have someone they know steal it for them. If I was a theif I'd rather steal a civic, toyota, or the newer models rather than an old car, because the market for the 240 crowd is a bunch of low income folks. But then again, the people that steal our cars wouldn't have much brains to realize that since their risking years (i hope) of jail time to make a few fast bucks.

Just my thoughts... time to up the security on my car.

yeah...it sucks...they didnt hack off the muffler luckily they just unbolted it lol. i think what happened is they hit something and the muffler was a goner, so they just ripped it off. whatever though, its back, and it will be back in business as soon as i get the ignition/ clean the fuck outta the car, and put the stock exhaust on. hey atleast i got 15 NES games and a craftsman tool set out of this. and busted motorized seatbelts/smoke smelling interior, and a busted old ass pioneer deck.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything. When I had my S13 and saw another modded one, I'd pull up next to it, check it out, maybe even look for the owner to do some old fashioned BS'n. Hell, I was driving in Hollywood a couple of days ago, and saw a sweet white S13 Silvia coupe on wide BBS meshies. Pulled over, checked it out, looked around for the owner and left...
