I have a set of Racing Gear JTC'N1 coilovers, these retail for $2900, I can let them go for $1200. These are 8/6k damper not adjustable

Racing Gear's entry level coilover system, but dont let that put you off. We've been using these for years in Roy's S13 and our dearly departed Drift Pig v1.0. The JTC'N1 Dampers are a quality non-adjustable damper coilover suspension solution. For those in need of quality handling for your street orientated ride, but don't need outright adjustability this is the one for you. While not damper adjustable, height is, in both the body and the spring platform.

The unit is made from aluminium with a steel strut and a twin-tube construction. The merit of the twin-tube system being that gas pressure is kept low in comparison with a single tube system, meaning less friction will be generated. The body, being of aluminium construction means the unit as a whole is lightweight, the material (high quality A6061 Alloy) being 4mm thick in the barrel. The thick wall means superior strength and little deformation from heavy impacts.

A major feature with the unit is the height adjustment, both from the spring platform and the bottom mount - a screw system that allows the bottom mount to adjust in height. Adjusting height in the spring platform allows for certain damping changes by preloading the spring in the unit and with the included adjustable camber tops, camber chambers can be setup for your specific ride.

wow, $2900 new for some coilovers that I've never heard of that compare to the Tein SS. I hope you were joking about the $2900 mark, and if not, show me the manufacturers website.

don't dis it if you've never heard of it.
http://www.racinggear.jp -Googled, first page.

how is it comparable to SS? basing it on the 8/6 springs?
Springs alone do not determine how a coilover responds.
so if you've never heard of it, why are you already comparing it to Tein SS?

I've never heard of it, so I looked up the site.
Priced at 249,480 yen, from the pdf catalog.
That's roughly 2240$

oh and just fyi tein aren't the best coilovers, they are a cheap coilover that a lot of people have problems with. They are just popular since they are one of the cheapest options coilover wise.

These on the other hand are a top quality coilover which is why it has the high price tag. You can always justify that by saying they are JDM :P

on another side note...from my Japenese friend who lives in Japan. Tein is damn near bottom of the line compare to other availible coilovers(i.e. Silkroad, Kei Office, JIC Magic). Thats just my .02$ Bump for ya man and good luck...too bad I don't have the fundage! Gas prices ownnnnns me.

Anyway bump for a set of sick ass coilovers. Whoever said they compare to the Tein SS is fuckin' retarded. RacingGear coilovers are the shit!
