Hey bought my 1995se 240sx with these on them and the ride is bouncey as hell seeing that i live in oklahoma and all the streets suck, almost makes me wanna throw up. Well i was just wondering how do i adjust these and also what you all would suggest a good setting would be on these bumpy roads.

You didnt happen to get the HE owners manual with the car did you? Most of what you need to know for baseline settings is all in there. Im sure you could get one right from Tein if not.

here is how to tune your he's for the street:

one inch gap between the springs and the coilover body, and set your dampening to about 15 clicks from full hardest.

all the way hard is clockwise, and it has 16 settings, dont go more than 16 clicks counterclockwise cause you will FUCK your shit up. :bash:

go all the way hard (clockwise) then 12 back from there is your baseline.

Thats too soft. HEs like more dampning to cure the bouncyness. I usually have mine at 8 clicks soft from full hard.

if you didnt want stiff suspension you should of got tein type cs or basic dampers. :hammer:

12 back from full hard is deffinatley to soft, but it is baseline. It will be bouncy until you stiffen it up. I think I have my rears 7 or 8 clicks clockwise after 12 back from full clock. Up front 4 or 5 I think cause of the stiffer spring rate, you wont need as much. I like it harsh and stiff rather than sloppy and bouncy. Sound good?

Negative.
Zero is base line. Zero being full stiff, or all the way clockwise. It makes no sense to go full stiff, then out to 12, then back towards zero for your count.

Taken directly out of my owners manual that came with HE's. Full clockwise is full hard, 12 back from there is baseline. Tells you to do that will all four coilovers before installing.

Alright, so the manual says 12 clicks counter is baseline. Baseline for a soft setting for street use. Its just owners manual stuff to make sure you don't break your new shocks or start out with them too hard and decide you hate them.
In my book 12 does not equal 0, and I prefer absolute scales, not relitive scales of measurement. But thats just me. I will concede that you have validated your logic.
