Resonator Box Quiets Things Down

ok when i tried to install to intake i pulled it all out and the i left that thig off that sucks the hood and the left the y pipe out and wow what a difference in sound i was like what the fuc* ( i try not to use profanity on the board because at school i try to read posts and a page comes up that says "excedes the limit of questionable words" ) and then i realized it was the intake

what did you remove and what did you leave in?

i pulled out the thing that comes up to the hood and the y piece  untill i get my intake situation fixed
