I am not too sure if it is the same car, but I can almost guarantee that it is. Here are some pics:

S15 Varietta.... not necessarily custom, but I wouldn't say factory either.
The twin turbo SR.... not THAT's the beautiful part.
(theoretically it's possible for a twin turbo setup to have better spooling qualities due to the lower rotational moment of inertia)

i'm glad i'm not the only one who saw this...
if i were going to spend that much on building a car, i would paint it so that the engine bay matched the exterior....

It's an SR. Look at the front of the engine, the length of the engine, the valve cover, etc.
most of all, look at the 4 runner intake

ya I dont think they are the same car but it is still an SR. The website I got em from was directly from the guy who took the pics and he labeled it as SR20DETT engine bay. Plus someone posted a link to an SR20DETT so it is out there.
Is it just me or do both those turbos look THE SAME SIZE? ...
Considering they're not linked (i.e. wastegate for one isn't going into exhaust housing of other... or at least doesn't look like it) -----
Doesn't that mean that this setup is actually using two turbos in parallel rather than sequential?! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I wasn't aware 2 cylinders could make enough exhaust to spool a whole turbo by itself!
Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

It is possible to run a true twin setup, just not very common. One of the local Supra guys is running a true tri-turbo setup.
