Anybody know any good shops in socal that could do a 5spd swap? I dont have the time or tools to do it... i found Ctune from searching and thats all i could find off here http://www.ctuneracing.com/contactus.asp
they quoted me about $1k for labor...

s13.. thanks for the links.. ill give them a call.. i was going to do it myself.. just dont have the time or tools.. + downtime probably would be double than just brining it to a shop

if you already have the tranny... check out www.shogunstyleperformance.com and contact matt. i'm sure he'd love to help you out. it's the only shop i let work on my car. if you contact him, let him know that ashley told you about the shop so he can get you a good deal. it's in vista, so i don't know how far you'd want to go, but in my opinion, it's the best shop to go to down here. :)

garageworks!!! they did my auto-manual swap in my 1st s14 and did an excellent job and beat all other shops prices.

if he's not confident about it or doesnt have the time to do it right... he might as well pay a shop to do it, it beats having to trailer the car intoa shop halfway through with a buncha things jacked up :D :rawk: :x:

Well me and my friends are doing another 5 speed swap. Should only take about half a day if you know what you are doing and have all the parts. Ill do it for 400 if you want. PM me for details. Cuz we know how shops like to rip ppl off. If not, do it yourself.
