Camping Recommendations

I'm planning on going camping real soon for a weekend, probably somewhat locally (west coast, but away from LA, OC, SD, SoCal). I'm sort of looking into Morro Bay State Park, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Aside from Yosemite and Sequoia, what campgrounds you would recommend and why? Any good places for scenic hiking, rafting, etc?

EDIT: I'm down to go to any 240SX meets too since I'm trekkin in the S13.
