Collapsed in the locker room after the Broncos vs. 49ers game last. Medics did immediate CPR and was rushed to a local hospital, but died shortly thereafter.

They think it may have been heat stroke, even though temps were in the 60's last night during the game. Official cause of death may be announced later today or tomorrow.

I always get shit for bringing this up, but in the same day 152,999 people died, 6342 in the US alone.

The difference was that he was famous.

Its spelled Thomas Herrion. The guy was 310+ at age 23. Thats extremely overweight for the average citizen but just right for an NFL lineman. He stayed in for a 14 play drive in Denver, which has less oxygen. I know when I go snowboarding in Tahoe, when I get stuck in some deep powder I get extremely winded just trying to get out. I doubt any type of drug was involved in his death.

Wow i was thinking of making a thread about this side of the arguement before is saw this. I would never down play the death of a human being but I would also never give one death precedence(sp?) over the other

Does anyone know or even care who Robert Moog is or what he is famous for? Did anyone know before I posted this that he died on Sunday as well?

Death is horrible in any case. DOesn't matter who, when, where, or why. Death is death. For people to say they don't give a fuck, how does that make them better than those who care and don't recog. the other dying people of the world. It's all the same in the end.

oh yeah, I am sure someone will try to argue this or some shit, but you will recieve no rebuttal. This is plain fact. If you are trying to argue, you fall into the categories stated as oppoesd in the above posts, meaning you are already "ignant". Not worth my time, good day.

dead shouldnt be mourned. It was an honor to die in many cultures, Spartans honored their dead, but never mourned. it was like a next step.
death a natural cycle of life. unfortunately Darwin's law relates to humans as well. Starving people in africa is one thing, but i would gladly castrate their parents for bringing them into poverty. cant feed your kids, then dont have them. It might be cruel, but you have to stop them from making so god damn many of them if you cant feed them. trully makes me angry how irresponsible people are. and if they simply dont care - there are no better than animals, just making offsprings not worring about their future. If you cant provide for yourself or your family - try. or die trying.
Building a mission and giving them food is one thing, but it does more harm then good. truely nobody gives a fuck to educate them and help with economy. and dont give me that propaganda bullshit. its just a market for pharmacutical companies and corporation to get tax write-offs on their fucking taxes and for politicians to feed their ambitions and political agendas.

point of the story: it sucks the guy died. but theres millions more dieing and its not gonna stop.
