Anyone (else) hear of rotor motorsports before? On their front page they say they'll beat anyone's advertised price... that sounds a little too good to be true to me!

i wouldnt doubt him, hes a good guy. &nbsp;the reason you've probably never heard of Rotor Motorsports is b/c its an Rx7 site only. &nbsp;i used to roll around the rotary circles before goin to the 240 camp. &nbsp;he is a Tein dealer though and said he could do some good prices. &nbsp;my friend w/ an impreza just ordered a set for 1,050 shipped, and my friend w/ the 3rd gen just got his yesterday. &nbsp;he paid 1,030 shipped or something close to that. &nbsp;im just tryin to help you guys out. &nbsp;if you want something a little more secure than the group buy, you could go w/ this guy. &nbsp;thanks, just trying to help...

I'm curious, what makes him more secure than the group buy? &nbsp;I mean both Lost Projects and the place that you mentioned, Rotor Motorsports, are legit businesses. &nbsp;I know that I probably shouldn't have responded to this post, but one of the luxuries of not being affilated with a business is that I can.

The fact that this post even exists is bad form in my opinion. &nbsp;I mean jesus, do you know how long I've been working on a group buy for the Tein's? &nbsp;Obviously not. &nbsp;You also obviously don't know how much work I've put into it. &nbsp;Then, just like that, you come here and plan to tear that down. &nbsp;It really pisses me off, and I know that it won't happen, but for these reasons, I wish that a moderator would shut down this thread.

Ahh well, I'm just speaking my mind because I have put many hours into the group buy. &nbsp;I don't know what you were thinking by posting this, I mean advertise for Tein's, that's perfectly fine, but don't be like "I can get a better deal on Tein's" even if you can, that's just not a good way to go about business. &nbsp;I guess you thought that you wouldn't get a response from me. &nbsp;

I can understand why DrD is getting a little irritated. I would be too, I think it is the way that hurleyboi514 came about it.

I would like to find out something, we are doing the groupbuy at 15%, what will he be able to do for us? What will shipping be? It is not that easy to come out and say that he can beat it without any information.

All I have to say is, he must push Tein's quite a bit, unless he plans not to make any money at all.

I was not in on the Tien groupbuy, and was in on the SR swap groupbuy till I got a turbo deal I couldn't refuse. But... there were a lot of people in on both of those. DubbleB could recite how many were in for ya. But thats not the point.
The point is: DubbleB has set up 2 groupbuys. For huge, in demand products. Any idiot can get $10 off $80 sway bars, but to get hundreds off a product while getting people to TRUST him and the company he's buying from.. takes time. And he has put fourth his time and effort into getting the best deals for ZILVIA! So who the fuck are you to flame him? You know what you could possibly have done? Made him not want to set up more group buys.
Which brings me to my next point. How many groupbuys have you set up? Are you gonna take his place? Your time and effort if he says this was enough? So keep your dumbass comments to your damn self!
He should be nearly glorified for his contributions to Zilvia.net and the Zilvi-ites. Not flammed for his opinion. And what if Lostprojects decides not to do groupbuys for us either? They *did* setup both groupbuys. For US!

I am really not crying over loosing business like this. To tell you the truth, I would have not made that much money on this deal. If indeed this GB goes through, I may actually loose out on some transactions because of the shipping charges, but again, I will gain it back with buyers that are closer to me. All and all, I wanted to do this GB for two reasons, one to promote us and two, to also join in myself, because I am also upgrading my suspension right now.

The 3% that you are talking about. I have explained it once, I don't think I need too do it again. It is pretty simple, I don't think any business is IN business to loose money. Good reputation is one thing, but when money's involved, I think no one wants to lose out.

I have not spent much time on this GB, DrD is the person taking care off it, including all the e-mailing and such. Whether 15% off is a good deal or not, he has spent his time so him and his fellow Zilvia member can enjoy something other then retail prices. I think that's pretty damn good.

My business is starting to grow, without growth, I will not have better prices. 15% at the present time, will be the best that I am able to do. Not sure about Rotor Motorsports, but if they can do better, I might also join up with that GB. The thing is, we have no information as to how much % off, how much for shipping, or what's included.......? It's pretty fucked up for someone to come out and say that they can do better, but leaves it at that.

Another thing is, if he can do better, how much better? $5~10 off? It is hard to make a living these days.

right on jeff good way to set the record strait DrD has always been a good source of advice and info so anyone that has a problem should really just chill out and take advatage of any discount they can get
