idle takes too long to idle normal?

this is probably a newb question but, yeah my idle is fine, but after driving and stuff, like after slowing to a stop and putting it into neutral it'll stay around near 2 rpm's then maybe 'very' slowly drop to normal if not it'll jus stay there, any ideas on how to fix this? i just want my car to be quiet at a damn stop lol, any information regarding this will be helpful

try checking your throttle cable see if it's sticking. Check your free play at the Throttle plate assembly. Go from there...

Y is your idle so high? Mines is set at 700rpm.

Again, check for jizz on the throttle cable. If not that, vacuum lines.

i set it right, it jus takes a long to settle, forgot i already adjusted the throttle cable like you said, but sisters car's in the way lol, so i can't try it out yet
