Is it just me or is it EXTREMELY difficult to find a 240sx w/ a blown engine? I live in ohio and i can't find a single 240sx that has a blown engine. In the rare event that i do find one, the car itself is usually in horrible condition. I really don't feel like doing a whole lot of body work.. Help!

i was taking a nice drive and i saw a 240 Exactly like mine sitting in a field in perfect condition. &nbsp;it had grass growing all around it though, im gonna swing by sometime and ask how much he wants for it. &nbsp;it looks like that it probably lost an engine, and now just sits. &nbsp;its even got the cool 7 star alloys! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

ya, I want to do the same thing... but I dont want a 89-90, thats all i can find...

I was thinking 91-93, blown engine, good body... for 200-300 bux. &nbsp; Then swap a SR in $5000, paint it $1000, upgrade the suspension $1000, and sell it... $10 000 =)

I found mine recently on Autotrader.com for $500. 90 240SX w/ blown motor. 3500 altogether for the SR and Install (and that included the auto to 5spd conversion) All in all not too bad IMO

From what Ive always run across....if the engine is blown...then the rest of the car is beat-ass.

Usually people who dont take care of their engines dont take care of anything else.
