I have spent a long time looking for viable options to get a set of 17s with a decent width and offset for my s13 4-lug. I have found a set of 17x8 wheels +12 offset 4.95 backspace and was wondering if they would fit fairly flush(not stick out) and with little modification. I have run numberous searches and cannot find a thread that list lowest offset or pictures of someone who has a similiar offset. This is my first post, but I have been following this site for the last 6months, so please any actual help you can provide with out insults would be tremendously appreciated!!!!

Looking at those cobra replicas on eGay huh?

Search for "wheel buying guide" and "4 lug wheel thread" and compare some of the stuff you see there. Here's a site that in invaluable when looking at different offsets. It will let you see how much more "flush" a 9.5 +25 is than an 8 +12.

Hope that helps,

Yup-mustang replicas. Figured they would be a better alternative than those sportmax wheels. Thank you very much for the link to the wheel calculator site. it helped some. I will have to do more looking to see if I can't find a similiar setup somewhere.

thanks again!

17x8 +12 will fit very nice, depending on what tire size you get it should fit without mods to the fender (say 215~225), i had 17x8 +35 with 23mm spacers so the offset was like +12 with a 205/45 tire up front and 215/45 in the rear, to give you an idea of how they look:
rear

oh ya, the fenders are rolled, i can fit a finger between the tire and the rear fenders, and the front i can fit like ~2 fingers, so you might have to do the same

you know that the mustang 4 lug is not the same spacing as the 240 4 lug right? they are 4.25" and ours are 4.5"

That's true, but there is one vendor on eGay selling the replicas he's talking about in 4x4.5.

yeah, there are no mustang replicas that fit S13's (4 lug)

their 4 lug is a different bolt pattern. I'm willing to bet the vendor is wrong.

I understand the bolt pattern is different. But there is a seller on ebay that is selling the wheels he's talking about (17x8 +12) in 4x4.5. Supposedly they fit 65-67 mustangs. He specifies that they will NOT fit foxbody mustangs (4x4.25 which is what you're talking about). Says they'll also fit older Z cars (which are 4x114.3) so I think he knows the difference. He has good feedback and has had NUMEROUS sets on there. I know because I thought about buying them. One of the reasons I don't post much is because everyone else thinks they're right. Here ya go chief.
