It's time once again for our annual Charity Autocross to benefit Navy and
Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS). The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps
Relief Society is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps,
financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval
Services of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when
in need.

The Society provides financial assistance to eligible recipients in the form
of:
? Interest-free loans and grants to meet emergency needs
? Needs-based scholarships and interest-free loans for educational purposes.
In addition, the Society offers the following services:
? Budget Counseling Services
? Food Lockers at some locations
? Infant Layettes < "junior seabags" and Budget for Baby Seminars
? Thrift Shops
? Visiting Nurse Services.

This is a great cause and our way of saying "Thanks" to Belle Chasse Naval
Air Station for continuing our 50+ year tradition of SCCA Competition on
their runways. All profits from the event go the the NMCRS. Door prizes will
be given.

Companies or individuals interested in contributing to the event can
purchase sponsorships:
Class Trophies: $40
Course Map Ads: $100 (business card size)
Adopt-a-Corner: $40 to name your corner

Concession will be open all day Saturday. Hot dogs, chips, water and soft
drinks are available. We'll be grilling free hamburgers for all drivers.

Base Entry:
- The Navy graciously lets Delta Region autocross at their base, provided
we follow their rules. Drivers and Spectators are allowed to pass through
the back gate, but must be on the base access list. You can get on the list
if you pre-register for the event online. Spectators and guests can be added
to your entry. If you think you might make it, go ahead and register to be
on the list, just in case. You must be pre-registered by 9:00pm Thursday,
August 25th.
- Access to the base will be through the rear gate only. Drivers won't be
allowed through the front gate. The rear gate is open from 6:00 am - 9:30
am, 11:00 am -1:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. You cannot enter or leave the base
during any other time.
- Don't wander around the Base. We're allowed passage too and from the
autocross site. The speed limit at the autocross site is 5mph (except on the
track, of course).
- Vehicles may be subject to search by Soldiers With Guns. Don't argue...
Sometimes they just want to check out your car.
- No firearms are permitted on Base. No, we won't bail you out either.
