There was a major plane crash in Cerritos back on August 31 1986. It involved an Aero Mexico DC9 and a small Cessna private plane. They crashed in mid air. This is the #4 worst plane crash in the history of California. 84 people died. Here is a picture of the plane going down:

Dude, I was talking to my mom about that, and she knew some of the people that died in that wreck.

That's pretty nuts. It must be kind of weird knowing that 84 people died at the same time just feet from where you live.
