ok i have been looking at water to air ic kits for my sr and was wondering if it is a bad idea for daily driver running 10-12psi?

here is the kit im looking at but im planning on adding a resivour to it.

I have seen these types of intercooling but as an auxiliary intercooler. Like an aftercooler.
As of daily use of it. I plan to use a Syclone/Typhoon intercooler for my KAT.
Piping is super easy and not curvy and long as SR and KA setups.
This car will be daily driven at 8psi.

one question... why?
Why use an air to water ic for daily driving. Your not space limited. Air-water intercoolers are really good for short sprints, when you can fill the resivor with ice. Otherwise an air-air is much better.

:stupid: Air/water systems heat soak really well in DD/Road track environments. They work fine on the drag strip where you run the car for 30secs and then have a long cool down time. Most of the Heat exchangers are good enough but the reservoir and especially the radiator are way to small to be efficient. If you had a car where a FMIC was impractical an air to water would be better than running straight pipe. but, not on a 240.

If they heat soak, then you have too little water, too small heat exchanger or you are circulating the water too fast.
Water intercooling, IMO is easier on the piping. Will see how does the temps are here in the tropics.
